I know I'm not the only 'mature' (yeah right) poster here.

In recent years I've seen the fashions of my yoof resurrected, some welcome (I spent 30 years waiting for spray-on tight gurls' jeans to make a comeback) and some not (hipster loons on men - yeuch)

Watching "Lethal Weapon" I noticed Danny Glover wearing a collar-bar! In about '84 I had my first Saville Row suit made and found a silk shirt with the collar pierced ready for a collar bar. I felt sooooo slick!

So I'm guessing they're due back soon.

And gurlies - stick with those skin-tight jeans and don't bother resurrecting the puff-ball skirt, hmmkay?

I'm waiting for the Body Glove zip up swimsuit to make a comeback as outerwear, a la 1988.

Pfft. Something to rest your pint and ashtray on while doing the nasties. Now that was *practical* style.

When you see this coming back, then you know that this can't be too far behind.

I'm usually on-board with most fashion, but I can't get behind those short Peter-Pan booties. They remind me too much of Aquanet. I'm also not down with rugby shirts. Hated them then, hate them now.

The Eskimo boots?

The best is when girls wear 'em with a mini skirt and tights.

If I could pick any style to make a comeback, flannel by a mile. I miss the 90's.

Lady Di in the 80s was a fashion nightmare.

Yeah but in the 90s, nobody wore a Mercedes-Benz headrest with the panache she did.
