Someone's going to make a bazillion off of this thing. Yeah yeah, that article lists far neater "gadgets", but this is the only one I can see myself purchasing.

This has taught me that I need to pay more attention to what I ***** about. There may be an opportunity to invent something there!

Working in an office, I'm forever coming up with ways to streamline processes, coordinate schedules for optimal employee pairing environments, and generally trouble-shooting and organizing...I just never think that way about "things"...they're just there. They are the way they are, inconveniences and all.

I wish I did though. I'd surely be rich!

I would still get a pyramid, just for the footprint.

How many times could you roll over the squid with your computer chair before severing a tentacle?

True. Looks like you could hang Power Squid over a hook and have everything (mostly) off the floor, which is very nice.

They're both good designs, though. All my ingenious ideas have already been pre-thunk.

Honestly, I'd still rather have a normal straight powerstrip. The problem with the pyramid design is that the cables end up going up and in every direction, meaning your odds of hooking one and pulling it out at an inconvenient time is pretty high. With a plain old powerstrip, all the cables run away in the same direction, making it much much much easier to hide them in a manner that does not intrude on the footspace under your desk.

Unless you're hooking and unhooking power cables a heck of a lot, the convenient design doesn't really buy you much IMO.

My strip is far enough back that my odds are about zilch. In fact, peering under my desk, I see that my power strip is on its side and all of its cables are facing my feet.

I'd happily get the pyramid design.

Because you're that homophobic.

You're way less likely to break a nail on one of these.
