I'm opening one and I think they're still doing that referal bonus thing. Let me know if you can still refer someone and I'd be happy to let you have the $10.

I'd be happier that I get $25.

I'm opening an ING savings account and they usually will give someone with an existing account a $10 finders fee for referring new customers...additionally, if referred, the new customer gets a $25 bonus (assuming they're depositing at least $250 and are really a new customer and over 18).

Anyway, I can find plenty of links online, but I like giving free money to someone I "know" rather than some random yahoo if I can.

Oh well, I'm impatient, so nevermind.

I'm just starting a savings account, so I'm not too worried about needing the money regularly. I like that it's tight.

Anyway, I got a referral, so thanks.

Obviously, since I now have an account, I'd be happy to refer anyone who wants to open one with a minimum of $250. I like money. I think I can refer like 25 people or something.

Pretty need that it puts the opening bonus right into your new account before they even do the transfer from your existing checking.

I'm irritated with myself for not doing this sooner, frankly, but my new year's resolution was to be smarter about saving money, haha.

I'd say it was to lose weight or quit smoking, but those are there every year.

Jonwin's brother sent him a referral, but I'm not sure if he set up an account before he went into the hospital. I need to ask him. I would open an account, but SSI has rules that limit how much I can have in assets, so having more then one bank account makes keeping track of balance trickier.

With not knowing when Jonwin will be able to work again, or if they will give him hours, since most of the job can't be done sitting, makes budgeting for the next few months important. I did buy 2 books yesterday on amazon, but we both will enjoy them and fight over who get to read them first.

I like that it's tight.

If I had a dollar for every time I've thought that....
