It's pretty short, but the storyline is well done and you get to do a fair amount of interesting things.

Single player campaign is a blast, the AC-130 lvl is one of the greatest levels in any game ever.
Yeah, CoD4 is the shit. My personal favorite level in the single player is the one where you go back 15 years and you're a sniper with that other guy.

Eh, if you've got a nice computer I think the single player for Crysis wins out over CoD4. I like how it's so open-ended, whereas CoD4 is just another on-rails FPS with a bunch of pretty set pieces. Extremely effective and fun set-pieces, true, but I just love how I can approach most problems in Crysis at least three different ways.
The multiplayer blows Crysis out of the water, though. You'll definitely get more bang for your buck from CoD4, but everyone should have a chance to play through Crysis on high settings, if only to see how far the technology has come.

crysis totally dominated my PC. Its playable but i have to have everything turned down to minimum on 1200x800 res windowed. I was surprised tbh. need more than 2gb ram with vista i think.
