I can't speak for Tare, but I would like to point out that I'm hungry.

Also, I haven't had a cigarette since yesterday.

Also, I hate how cold it is.

Damn it, she left. I'm not going to pander to her complaints about not enough posts for her to read if she's not even going to be here to read them Smiley: mad

She's probably off getting knocked up again.

Hungry is my general state. Not poverty-starvation hungry but the hunger of a white guy in a wealthy nation who likes to eat things.

There's damn near no one in my office today.

We had a girl here who was caught spending her days playing World of Warcraft of all things. Plus, since she wasn't getting her work done during the day, she had been racking up a bunch of overtime. To make things stranger, she wasn't fired but simply told that she wasn't getting more overtime and to stop spending her workday playing games. Instead, she resigned.

As the Comptroller put it, she should have just gone back to playing games for a day. She'd have been fired and could collect unemployment Smiley: laugh

Heavens!

I'm a busy girl, you know. I had to get groceries, fix the ball popper, load the dishwasher and break up the toddler wrestling match. All of this to say, no, I am certainly not getting knocked up again. Smiley: mad

How you doin', Earwig?

I'm hungry too, Nexa. Smiley: frown

I had a bagel sandwich this morning that will keep me full all day. I tipped my bagel guy, and I felt good about it.

My daughters boyfriend is visiting for the week. He arrived last night. He couldn't keep his hands off her. I had to watch, all evening, while he wrapped his arms around her every chance possible...and even KISSED her.

This has contributed to my lack of appetite.

It is VERY cold! but it's supposed to be warming up.

We have so much snow, I can almost not see our house. But the slight warmth coming from the house, the smell of humans, and the cracked-corn/birdseed/saltlick we have out-back have caused all the fine-forest, flying-feathered and furry four-legged critters to visit our yard frequently over the last week. Gazing out my back window has been like watching a scene a Bambi.

It's Friday and I'm happy.

The husband and I finally have a night out planned, which we haven't had for far too long.

Well, that's essentially what it does. Heh.

Sure, they'll be the evil puppetmasters that have their minions do the dirty work.

Go home, and do some knockin' up of your own. Smiley: wink

Tare, good thing you weren't able to come to the party today. My next door neighbor invited Tare, myself, and my other neighbor to a birthday party for today at 10. At 10 I went over and she wasnt home. I called my other neighbor to see if I had the wrong day but she had it on her calendar for today as well. I ended up going over to her house for a couple hours, with a note on my next door neighbors door to call us. As I left to get Ashe and myself lunch she showed up. She said it was for next Friday. Ugh! At least my other neighbor and I were on the same page and we were able to share coffee. truffles, and places to check out. I found out about a really cool coffee shop down the street with a lot of kids toys and a train table. Gonna have to check it out next week.
