Hm... I might just reinstall and let it patch overnight tonight.

Tare, you can't find your original CD? That's all you'd need.

Hmmm...I'll have to look. No wait, DSD will kill me. Smiley: lol

No I wont. But I will outlevel and mock you when you return Smiley: sly

I keep saying I'm going to reinstall EQ and just go look around again. Most returning players get a free 21 days so I wouldn't have to pay for my trip down memory lane.

Installing the game as I type, although I never could give it sufficient time to seriously level anymore, I suppose it'll be fun to roam around again.

If only I never deleted my main.

You can petition (best done on the SOE website rather than in game) to have them undeleted and you will have it back in a couple days. Though when they restore deleted toons they restore every toon you ever undeleted not just that one. You may then have more then 8 and may have to redelete some of those toons to make you main reappear on the list.

Hmm, thanks for the info! Not sure what the limit is for time though, it's been years, four even I believe.

There is no limit in time as far as I know.

Most likely not, I've looked at the boards and I've read that I'll have to start a petition ingame, going to try that and see what I get. Thanks again!

if your going to reinstall EQ, your better off buying the anaversary edition or the latest expansion, they both have all the previous content and cost the same, about 20 bucks. i tried using my old disks and there is so much crap between all the differant expansions that it causes more problems that its worth.

the new disk set installs just fine and you get everything.

i have been playing with it for the last 3 weeks, just cancelled my account again. was a blast touring the old world and some of the new stuff. was worth the trip to me. but like people have mentioned, the time to get anything done tossed in with dealing with the scavenger type quests that never give you enough information to complete just sucks the excietment right out of any thought of actually trying to get anything done ingame.
