LOTRO lost me in the long haul.. in the end it felt a lot like WOW, and I had more time and energy invested in WOW, so I went back to it.

Still playing EVE on and off too.

I have been in EQ2 as of late, was Hellgate London before that. Still intend on lotro soon, but WoW is so inviting!

I'm off of MMOs as well. The wife got me to start EQ2 about two months ago, played for one night, never bothered going back in. I'd like to go back to WoW sometime but never feel like it. Did Pirates beta but it doesn't look too promising. Haven't played EQ1 in over six months. It's all about Battlefield2/PR mod now. I even got her the new EQ2 expansion so she'd leave me alone. EQ2, although I just cant build up excitement for it like I did with EQ. I wish they'd merge the EQ servers again, to make pickup grouping possible again.

I'm still really looking forward to WarHammer. I was hoping I'd get in the beta but no such luck. I beta'd Tabula Rasa a while back. It is alot like RFOnline. FPSMMORPG, great in concept but the game lacked any real UMPH to pull me in.

Real life has just been too hectic and fun. I played one of my X-Box 360 games last weekend - the new Simpsons game. It's a little annoying so I didn't last too long - could have been my mood so I'll try when I'm not tired and cranky. I really loved the last Simpsons game that was based on Grand Theft Auto - I'll probably pop back that one in some time. I haven't gotten back into BioShock yet, but I think I'm about half way through it. I also have Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed sitting on my entertainment center unopened.

As for mmorpgs, EQ2 is still my primary game but as most on there know, I haven't been on in a while and even when I am, it's sporadic. I really enjoy it's versatility over WoW in terms of class/race combinations.

I am still very much hungry for Warhammer Online because I really dig the world and have a bunch of the Warhammer novels. They are awesome goodness. Just finished Manslayer (Gotrek and Felix novel). Good stuff!

I could probably be lured into WoW at some point, possibly for the next expansion. However, if Warhammer Online is out at that point, I'll be sticking with WO. Timesink games are just harder and harder to stick with lately.

EQII, still much more addictive than the other mmo's at the moment. Ofcourse, all bets are off if Star Trek ever gets online. 2009 I believe, or rather hope.

Why am I one of the only mooglefuckers in here? Though I've been playing Mass Effect for the 360 more than anything else right now.

Still playing EQ 1, I had the daily screenshot the other day, Jan 3 to be exact. All the other games are just too easy.

How many people still play that, overall I mean?

I remember logging back in a few months after I stopped playing (years ago now) and it took about 30 seconds before I just couldn't stand it, haha.

Haha, DSD, Sick and I were just talking about this last night. I am always tempted to start playing again but the time suckage is far too great. I just don't have a year to waste. I miss the overall sense of excitement and wonder that I got playing EQ in the beginning. So many zones, lots to do, lots to discover....and lots of medding, corpse runs and mob stealers. Good times.

I keep saying I'm going to reinstall EQ and just go look around again. Most returning players get a free 21 days so I wouldn't have to pay for my trip down memory lane.

Installing the game as I type, although I never could give it sufficient time to seriously level anymore, I suppose it'll be fun to roam around again.

If only I never deleted my main.

Hm... I might just reinstall and let it patch overnight tonight.

Tare, you can't find your original CD? That's all you'd need.
