Moving on...Follow

I was watching one of my favorite shows last night with Joph, that we affectionately refer to as "SVOO", and I noticed one of the guest stars was Cynthia Nixon, of SaTC fame. I commented to Joph that while, on occasion I've seen her look good, she truly looked like a troll unless serious attention was paid to how she was styled, which of course, was not the case on SVU. He gave me a truly derisive look and immediately nixed my veredict (logical fallacy!!) because yes, I am one of the people who thinks Sarah Jessica Parker is attractive. What do you guys think?

When I first noticed SJP was in a movie I watched maybe 15 or more years ago with Chevy Chase (California or Malibu something or other). I noticed her because I thought she was adorable.

She's a decent actress and has aged ok. So meh. I just watched the Producers the night before last. Her hubby is certainly nothing exceptional in the looks department.

She doesn't do it for me. I like her as an actress though.

I can't stand her. I could even forgive her looks (generous of me, I know) if she had some acting chops.

Every film I've ever seen her in (not to mention the few times I've actually watched Sex & the City), I've completely failed to empathise with her character at all. Eventually it occured to me that the issue wasn't me -- it was just that she really sucked as an actress and couldn't elict any pathos from me.

And come on Flea, her body never even started. She's just skinny. I thought you had better taste than that.

I didn't find any of the Sex and the City women anything more than average.

Of course, I'd likely start throwing things at the television if subjected to any of the monumentally horrid acting taking place on any of the Law and Order franchises, so opinions vary, I suppose.

SJP is Jewish?

Oh no, I beg to differ. She has amazing legs and quite a rack. I've never been that toned, though I'd love to be.

Flea, as much as I applaud your use of links and pictures of women, could you make them hot? Hot pictures of women, I mean?

SJP is one of those women, when her face is pictured in the right light, I would kil people to be with her, and at other times she looks long. Long and gangly, like a horse.

It was a shame when she broke her leg in the Preakness, but I am sure her handlers loved the media attention and the nations (brief) sympathy.

Meh sums up my opinion of SJP. She should do something about that big growth on the side of her chin.

Anyways, I've been meaning to bring up something about her. Since I've been working weekends at Steve & Barry's, where her line of clothing, Bitten, is sold, they have TVs showing music video and promo spots/interviews. At one point she says something that really threw me at first: "Your financial status should not affect your standard of living."

Now, that sounds kind of dumb on the surface, but when I think more about it I like the idea. I'll take Donald trump's quality of life on my $600/week pay.
