The Gift that Keeps being GivenFollow

Yes mostly books, but not always.

John Shea the RC priest who is know for storytelling, tells this story.

He was giving a seminar in Arizona. One of the participants, at the end of it, gives him a large silver and turquoise belt buckle. Shea turns it down, saying he doesn't deserve such a beautiful item. The man insists and Shea again refuses.
The man then says to Shea how much the seminar has meant to him and he wanted to show his appreciation. He then adds. I really want to give this gift to you, there is nothing to say you have to keep it.
Shea took the gift and later passed it on.

Usually, in these kinds of stories, it's the priest who's trying to take off their belt at the insistence of the other person that they please don't.
