I shall be frantically running around today, exchanging gifts, last minute shopping (grrrr) and stocking up for Christmas dinner (it's always best to buy wine in bulk). I think DSD and I are taking the wee ones swimming too.

I'm exhausted just thinking about it. Better bring in the troops.../brews coffee....

So, what have you got going for the weekend? And it better be hawt and juicy.

Only thing I can comment about hot and juicy is the steak I plan to eat this weekend!

Not exactly hot and juicy. I expected more from a redhead.

Flea is getting her eyes pew-pew-laz0red tomorrow so she's in for an exciting weekend of no TV, reading, etc etc. We also have to finish shopping for Joph Jr & my nephew. My mother's birthday is tomorrow as well so I'll be ditching Flea for a while to have dinner with my mom unless she decides to come along. Flea is supposed to be sleeping that day anyway.

Aside from that, wrapping gifts and prepping for the holiday.

Tonight, I'm going to a party at my best friends house, who just recently got back from Afghan. He'll be heading back in early January. The rest of the weekend I'll be at my girlfriend's place, who is due in a few weeks. She's very self-conscious about herself right now, so any physical contact changes her into a ravaging horndog. I'm expecting a very fun weekend.

I dunno.

I just want to be done with work, but I have to give someone a ride home...at 4:30, so I can't sneak out early.

My daughter insisted we not get our x-mas tree til she came home, but then delayed her return by 3 days. So..we don't even have a tree yet.

I wanna skip a tree.

I feel the holiday cheer draining out through my toes as I sit here at my desk.

Tomorrow I'm driving to my parent's house where we're having Christmas early, then coming back on Sunday. Doesn't get more juicy than that.

I've planned a marathon of things that don't require leaving the bedroom much this weekend except for necessities.

Oh yes, silk will be involved.

we can skip swimming if you just want to chill, Tare.

I had a call from my brother last night saying he may stop in for a visit, as he was driving a friend to the airport down the street. Got a call this morning, said friend missed his flight, brother driving him to Charlotte, and can he drive here and crash? Sure, no problem. If he calls again and says his friend missed the flight in Charlotte, I may have to kick his ***.

I am also picking my mother up at the airport tonight. Kids are supposed to be asleep so she can sneak in, drink coffee quietly and chat, then pass out undisturbed.

Tomorrows just chilling and letting the kids beat the crap out of grandma.

Sunday Xavier, gramma, and myself, will enjoy a 3d presentation of Polar Express at the local Imax theater, then Tares family is coming over for some BoJangles, country fried chicken Smiley: grin

Tonight is my oldest's birthday party. He and his friends are going to try to beat the crap out of each other in some manner or other at the house. Visiting a gazillion relatives all this weekend. I have to fit in finishing Christmas shopping, wrapping gifts, putting up the tree, cleaning the house, cooking some food, etc.

Since I saw a show on the Science Channel (How it's made) about how they do that, there is NO way I could ever go through with that procedure. Nightmare inducing stuff /shudder.

Take a huge collective **** on other children's books that haven't yet been made into mass market disasters by adding 90 minutes of dialouge for Forrest Gump?

A redhead who's working two jobs and preparing for a baby. Sorry but you can't expect much from me these days.
