WTF?
She's 16, knocked up, and plans on keeping the kid. That's about as selfish as it gets eh.
If she had one ounce of concern for this kid, she's give it up for adoption to an 'anonymous' set of mature loving parents.

she is 16, and doesnt plan on DUMPING her inconvienance on some one elses door step. there are many many worse choices she could make, and she didnt. and who is to say the home she lives in now doesnt have mature loving people around that can provide a nuturing enviroment for a child to grow up in.
teens get preggo in all walks of life. from the wealthiest to the poorist, from people who would be great parents to crack heads who should be forced into sterility. some abort them, some dump them into state care, some dump them on relatives, some just flat out abandon them, and some adopt them out.
outside of the decision not to use protection, the decision she made is the most mature, and most responsible. hopefully she sees it as the gift that it is, and not some burdon that will interfere with her partying.
things happen. the things that happen are not what is important, but is yet what most people focus on, what is important is how we deal with the things that happen. she made a fine choice. the best choice to be made in her situation.
i hope she learns to become a good mother. and before you start harping on the "learns to be...." part of being a mother, NO ONE is born a good parent, they all become good or bad parents AFTER they have a child.
it is refreshing to see someone stand up and take responsibility for their actions irreguardless of the mistake that led them there. she is alot more mature than most of you here.
Oh yes, great home. JL's parents are split, older sister is America's cheapest *****, the G-ma to be let the 2 live together and sleep together. The g-pa is an alcoholic. What a great environment for both the mother who still has a tremendous amount of growing up to do, what a great start for a brand new life. Money does not buy class folks.
