Katie, you'll have to give me your Wii number, so our Mii's can mingle! Oh, and we can play Ravin' Rabbids together, haha

We're hosting the Yuletide festivities so this weekend will be spent tidying the place up & doing the grocery (and liquor) shopping. Oh yeah, I should start wrapping gifts, eh?

Christmas day will consist of many brothers and sisters (and their kids, spouses, kid's kids) yucking it up, opening gifts and snacking too much. This will be followed by what I hope will be a delicious meal.

Kitca will probably try to look relaxed as my very loud family overtakes our normally quiet home.

I took the 26th off to recover. I think I'll need it.

my mother has been here for 24 hours and I am already exhausted! Fortunately shes in good cheer and no guilt tripping has happened yet. I've just been nonstop getting things ready, buying last minute stuff, driving her and the kids to toy stores, going back later because there are no transformers on the east coast of NC and my brother is panicking as he cant find one for Zavi and I saw them there so I grabbed one for him...... whew Im tired! Smiley: lol

I still havent started wrapping yet. Im hoping to get a lot of it done tomorrow night, so I can spend Christmas eve night building the other big toys. That reminds me, I need to go buy wrapping paper

2 more hours left of the day still but I can go back to playing LOTR:O without having to worry about needing to finish my knitting projects for another 364 days.

Grandkids love their hat and mittens, so guess not getting to play my hobbit for last few weeks was worth it. Pictures were taken, just not by me, so I have to wait until someone sends me copies to show off my l33t knitting skills. Tonka dump truck first got a frown, but soon was giving rides to little sister's baby doll.

With my sister going into get her jaw broken tomorrow, I will be spending next few days making visits to hospital to see my dad. He tells everyone that we shouldn't come to see him, but we never listen. Sisters in NJ should be coming down soon to see him to and then we can decide where he'll live once he is well enough to come home.

At least he love my card with the duck in doctor outfit, saying worst think about having to be sick, is that you feel like thit. Just seem perfect card for him. Will take cleaning service to get the smell of thit out of the rugs.

While I love the necklaces Jonwin gave me, I also love the Viking Lego set, my middle child gave me. Christmas just isn't right without more Lego to play with. Now they just need to make Lego Penguin figures to go with my Lego parrots, dragons and monkeys.

I notice they be Celtic Vikings, with knot work on their shields.
