Nice.

Talking of seasonal music, arguably one of the most bestest Christmas songs, "A Fairytale of New York" has been Bowdlerised by the BBC Smiley: motz

I can understand them muting Eminem's "MotherfUcker" and the like, but they mute "****" & "******" when they play this on Radio 1.

Wossatallaboutden? Smiley: frown

Radio 1 backs down in Pogues row

BBC Radio 1 has said it will allow the Pogues' Fairytale of New York to be played on the station uncut, after criticism of a decision to censor it.

The words "****" and "******" had been dubbed out from the 20-year-old festive hit by station executives.

But after a day of criticism from listeners, the band, and the mother of singer Kirsty MacColl, they changed their minds.
Smiley: clap

It's OK, but a bit contrived. There were already enough Tull christmassy songs to make one's own collection.

Good taste though, whoever you are ;-)
