Here's my contribution to the holiday spirit around here.

Men's chorus. Yummy.

Do you have a thing for crooners like Buble?

Not so much. I'm more about the formal-wear wearing choral types.

Nice try, Nobby, but I want to stay on DF's good side.

I recall her misty-eyed look when I sang that particular song to her, my Fender gently weeping, but since then things didn't work out, so play nice, and you might be able to have me. [:non-premium-attempt-at-a-Sly:-emoticon:]

Probably just her allergies.

Doesn't matter if things didn't work out. The same rules that govern behavior with boyfriends applies to exes. It's in the Girl Code.

Besides, Mr. Ambrya still has some good mileage left in him.

Yeah but he's never had me sing "Wonderful Tonight" to him.

Trust me - he'd turn to the ghey side, then break his heart that I don't bat for that side.

Nobby's new song wrote:

I called my friend Libby
To ask her out for a date
She said "Babe I love you"
"But it's getting way to late"

And then I told her,
"Hey now that's all right"
Once again
I'll be whacking off, tonight

I made myself dinner
Ate it by candlelight
I turned on the T.V.
'Cause Baywatch is on tonight
Pamela Anderson Lee
Makes me feel alright
Now I'm sure
I'll be whacking off tonight

I'll be whacking off
The whole night long
Flexing muscles in my things
Some may think it's gross
But they just don't realize
How much I like it

It's time to go to sleep now
I've got an aching hand
I lay there dreaming
Of my beauties in the sand

And then I whisper
As I turn out the light
I say "Self, you were wonderful tonight"

I'm a big believer in it. The sooner Nobs adapts to the fact that he's used goods and pretty much useless to any woman here, the better off he'll be.

While I'm sure your rendition of "Wonderful Tonight" is quite compelling, if I caught you singing it to him, I doubt it'd be him who had caught teh ghey.

Welcome back Ambrya!

And since I had another allergist appointment today, she said it might have been the allergies from the booze!

Thanks for the assist! No idea why I just got spontaneously logged out yesterday. And even less idea why the password I've had for years suddenly didn't work.

Mr. Ambrya has that. He's part-Asian and lacks the enzyme to metabolize alcohol, which means he gets drunk very easily and looks like he's having a bad hay-fever attack when he does.
