Here ya go, knock yourselves out.

Let me mention my personal favoUrites in 2007.

I start from an assumption that nobody cares, so put this down to catharsis and move on.
If someone can be ***** starting a thread with nominations, knock yerself out.

Wittiest Poster: Samira. Possibly a female American Stephen Fry

Most Charming Poster: DSD - an elegance that makes me want to wear my tux when posting

Grumpiest Poster : Moebius takes panache and grumpiness to new levels

Best Admin: None of 'em. They're all *****, except Darqflame, and it's poor etiquette to grant awards to hawt ex-girlfriends

Best Terrorist: I have to say Samson

Best Drug : Alcohol

Most Annoying Poster: gbaji

Sexiest Poster: Thumbelyna

FavoUrite shape: Hexagon

Best Avatard: BT's head-eater. Straight-up ******* disturbing.

You know, I'm pretty sure Red won "Best Newcomer" last year, too. I remember because I wanted it, and I spent the next several months rating him down.

Also, I would nominate Nadenu for Favourite Shape, as well.

BT made me laugh once or twice, but for the last half a year he has been a miserable ball of failure, capped off with trying to bring the sandbox into =4.

Oh and RP has been around for more than a year if I recall, he is just forgettable at times. Depending on the number of "x"'s in his name.

For the rest though I'd have to agree.

Favorite Name Dropper: Nobster. Nobody casually lets fly the moniker of the latest celeb you've had dealings with quite as smoothly as you, baby.

Sentimental Favorite: Tare. An overly fertile female Canadian? Don't they give out medals to women like you for populating the frozen tundra with future seal hunters and whale harpooners?

Best Poster for a Post Count Grind-fest: Are you kidding me? Is there any other possible choice other than Jophiel for continuing to post here boldly despite a spirit-wilting dearth of interesting topics or people? In the face of such adversity, I'm willing to grant him a second helping of Lifetime Achievement Award. He's the Asylum equivilent of that guy who works in a factory putting a bolt in a widget for his entire lifetime, never complaining about working conditions, never asking for a raise or a promotion, just happy to have his two 15 minute breaks in the morning and afternoon, and eating his bologne and mayo sandwich on white bread during his 30 minute lunchbreak. RACK you, I guess.

Good Ol' Boys I Hope Never Leave This Place: 'Flea, Smash, Git, Nads, Sammy, Gbaji, Moeb, Red, Exo, Kao, DSD, Whats-her-face from Raleigh, the Turtle.

Good Ol' Boys I Wish Never Left This Place: Angry Hippo and Tacosid.

Yep, and I plan to win it next year too.

Since we're sucking each other off, here are my nominations, in chronological order:

Favourite early riser for morning chat: Tare. thanks, it wouldn't have been the same without you!

Most informative poster: Joph' By the way, I'm coming to Chicago next year, so I'll be pm0ing you for advice. And more!

Funniest poster: Tough one, but Nobby gets my vote. It's the silliness that get sme every time.

Least stupid Republican: I gotta give it to Moe. He's stupid, for sure, but not quite as much as the others.

Favourite candidate: Ombama. If anyone doesn't know who to vote for, and doesn't care, vote for him from me. It's tough being a poor and humble citizen of the world who's denied basic civic rights.

Favourite Brick wall: Who else...

Favourite linkage of Maine news: Tough one, but I think Smash just nicks it. Keep it going, it's nice to know nothing much is going on somewhere.

Favourite DP: Surely BT for raping both the Asylum and the 28.

Favourite 10k: Farkle!

Favourite most disliked: Varrus. His socks are too cute.

Favourite drug: Weed has edged again this year, but champagne made a strong run late in the 4th. Maybe next year!

Fickle beeatch that I am, I had some ties in my choices. Don't judge me!

Funniest Poster: BarkingTurtle/Nobby - For me, it's always a tie between you two twits. The more the merrier. Cheers.

Wittiest Poster: Samira. Possibly a female American Stephen Fry - Spot on.

Best Newcomer: Elinda. Not sure if she's all that new, but I noticed her decent contributions this year more so than any previous year.

Consistent Quality: Jophiel. Jophiel is the Cal Ripken of the Asylum - which speaks to his tenure here or to the extreme boredom he endures at his day job.

Most Disturbing Poster: Gbaji and his spin on politics (to each his own).

Silliest Poster: Nadenu - she has some of the best comebacks ever (see this thread).

Poster most likely to off themself after sniping a mall: any of the Pubbies on here - ticking time bombs of failed republican beliefs...tick...tick...tick...tick...

Most Charming Poster: Nexa and Tare - Normally I would just pick Nexa, but Tare has been awesome of late in her charmingness...ness. Plus, she looked smokin' hawt in the pics from Chi-town.

Grumpiest Poster: Moebius takes panache and grumpiness to new levels - Agreed - now if we can get the drunk ******* to post regularly. Props to his recent drunken posts.

Best Admin: While they have all been absolutely great to me, I'll go this year with Danalog since he's a local favorite.

Most deliciously cynical Poster: Smasharoo - Nice to see him back and posting more often - we only have Nexa to thank. Well played, madam, well played.

Best Terrorist: pre-Nice-Nephyths - I'm assuming this is for best Troll/Sniper/Ball Buster - Kudos!

Best Drug: Online Dating - Oh dear Bob, I'm like BT running amok in Noah's Ark!

Most Annoying Poster: Katie - Didn't want her to feel left out!

Sexiest Poster: Thumbelyna

FavoUrite shape: Thumbelyna's

Best Avatard: Mine. Obey the Basset, ****!

Favorite number(s): The numbers on my paycheck with a $ in front of them.

Assylumite of the Year: Barkingturtle - spot on

Funniest Poster: BT, hands down. Though others definitely have their moments around here.

Favorite Admin: Kao, simply for sentimental reasons.

Least faovrite Admin: All these new twits. Seriously, get a sense of humor.

Most annoying poster: Sorry Katie, Shadowrelm takes this one. I've never seen anyone consistantly display that they have no idea what the hell they are talking about pretty much all of the time. Why, in the name of all that is holy, is this tool not sub-default already?

Poster that brings out the chivalry in me: Pretty much all the Allafemmes. While they seriously imbue this place with a little too much estrogen on occasion, it is refreshing and they are all charming ladies. So kudos to you gals.*

Jophiel: Seriously, the guy is his own category. I like the Cal Ripken comparison, very apt.

Biggest sellout yet I still end up buying premium: Allakhazam. Thanks for making a site that causes me to consistantly lose productivity at work.

*I realize that none of them will sleep with me, but I'm hoping perhaps one of them has a hawt friend, sister, or even mom I could hook up with.

I think it is commendable that hate speach is a bannable offense. Having nothing but respect for all races, creeds, colors and sexual orientations, I find it reassuring that the correct action can be taken in today's world. I just wish it was more widespread. Like the other day when some guy made a thread about moogles and how he hated them and stuff, I just told him, "Hey, I for one happen to love moogles. I think everyone should own a few."
