Considering the constant bravado I get from Miami Fans at work...I understand where Miami fans are coming from. Miami is 1-13, and pulled out their first against a 4-10 team (whoopee!) New England played a crappy (re: 3-10 at the time) team that has handed it to Miami twice and *gasp* beaten Pittsburgh! So NE pulls away with a 20-10 win in horrible weather on what was already idealized as a low-scoring game due to field conditions. They still won, running the ball to capitalized on possession time, and let the Defense do the dirty work of shutting down an absolutely horrible offense in crappy conditions.
Seems to me the Pats know just what they're doing, to survive the rest of the season without incident and get to the playoffs where they'll enjoy a week of rest in round one, and home field advantage throughout. It's smart football. Why risk your receivers and QB on a wasted show of muscles in ****** weather against a team that stands next-to-no chance of winning? Come on...think, man! It's not quantum physics!
