What's shakin' for the weekend?

I am busy as hell today cleaning, baking bread as well as a birthday cake for Mia's birthday party tomorrow and running around buying last minute things. I'm hitting the gym this afternoon and drinking some beer tonight while playing some EQ2 (how you doin, DSD?).

Gotta rake leaves and finish painting Sunday. Ugh.

Tonight I'm going to clean like mad because I've got my photographer friend coming over tomorrow to take the Christmas pictures and I'd like to get a Christmas tree this weekend...

I also have to write a paper this weekend and my committee meeting to prep for. Oh, and a ton of presents to wrap.

I've got painters coming in 45 minutes to finish up the areas I just can not reach without killing myself. It will be nice to finally have that all done. I've got to tidy up a bit as I've been lazy. Being sick just bites. But my sinus headache went away late last night and I may actually be on the mend (yay!)
Tonights some EQ2'n (up for Karnors castle or Chardok, Tare?)

Tomorrow I'm gonna finally get a game of Squash with the Mr in, then take the kids swimming. Then head over for Mias party and eat all of Tares icelandic cookies before anyone else can have them. I got Mia the loudest, most annoying gift ever and I purposely broke the off button. Smiley: grin

Sunday, after checking to see if finances are ok, we may go get out Christmas tree and some decorations and get this house looking good for the holidays. If not, I'll listen to Xavier whine about why I said we would decorate the house and get the tree and its not FAIR that we cant!

Good times

Christmas stuff.. Smiley: tongue

We're going out of town on Dec. 13th, so I want to have all my stuff done before then.

...shopping, baking, organizing, decorating.

Sunday however is our final paintball bash of the season. We hava a good crowd turning out. It Should be fun if not painful (Paintballs at 30 degrees f are pretty unforgiving).

Gonna try to burn the last of the leaves when I get home before we take off to get a Christmas tree. Then we decorate this weekend, Flea wants me to hang a curtain rod and I assume general cleaning. Really, a pretty low-key weekend (I hope).

Going to get my eyes laserfied today in Denver, and staying overnight in a motel for the follow-up in the morning. Assuming all goes well and I don't get permanently blinded I'll probably try to finish up some Christmas shopping this weekend, and get all the cards sent out.

Tonight, some family time with hubby and the kids. Probably watch a movie and I'll make a to-do list of what needs to get done with the house.

Saturday and Sunday are fun-filled days of finishing the unpacking, decluttering and organizing of the house. We can't decorate the house for the holidays without doing that stuff first. I have to say that DSD was my inspiration of finally getting off my butt and getting the house done. I'll be Craigslisting all the stuff that we don't want, but is in good enough condition to be given/sold to someone else. Whatever we can't sell, we'll donate.

If, by chance we do get everything done by Sunday, I want to tidy up the front and back yards. Pull the weeds, rake up the errant leaves, etc. I'll have a dumpster ordered so we can get rid of all the junk and trash.

I also need time to do my final for my class and some other personal errands like finances, iPod updating, etc.

Lessee, aside from working tomorrow night, I'll be getting a haircut, finally sitting down to watch the new Futurama movie, and since it's December, I'll give up on resisting the g/f on x-mas decorations.

Where the hell we're going to fit a tree in my apartment I'll never know. But she swears it can (will!) be done.

Sunday night, I'm planning on making tacos (yum!) and watching Tin Man on sci-fi.

With finals fast approaching, I'm slated for a whole bunch of homework, reading, and general busy-work all weekend.

Except for tonight. Tonight is reserved for beer and sex.

House cleaning, putting up Christmas decorations, grocery shopping, the usual stuff. No EQ2 for me - my video card is dying and it'll be a while before I can get a new one. Smiley: frown

He said I could go ahead and order another one, but I'd rather use the money for the kid's Christmas. I'm a big girl, I can wait.

Got a date tonight, a date tomorrow afternoon, a date tomorrow evening, a date Sunday afternoon, and possibly a date Sunday evening. All with different ladies.

Am I out of control with online dating?

Yes. Yes I am. Smiley: grin

Good times.

That's very sweet.

If I may suggest, a good way to get her out of the house would be to set her up an appointment for a "spa day" or a massage or something.

But what would be more expensive, a hospital stay or a spa treatment?
