If you can take the abuse laid on you when all around
Are balking at it and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when We berates you
But make allowance for it’s insults too,
If you can lurk and not be tired by lurking,
Or being lied about, shut the f’uck up,
Or being hated, continue shutting the f’uck up,
And yet don't make much noise, nor show your idiotic ***:

If you can dream of being We and not make that dream your master,
If you can think;
If you can meet with insult and flame
And treat those two offenses like water off a duck’s back;
If you can bear to read the post you've written
Twisted by your betters to make you look like an idiot,
Or watch the things you really believe in ridiculed,
And continue to keep shutting the f’uck up:

If you can make one heap of all your credibility
And risk it all on the defense of one ignorant-assed position
And be shown a moron, and start again from sub-default
And never breath a word about your just desserts;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve We as long as you continue to post here,
And so back your betters in defense of insufferables
Willing yourself not to be seen as an cnut (FFXI player):

If you can talk with We and keep your virtue,
Or mingle with We,
If neither We nor moogle-f’uckers can hurt you;
If We comes to tolerate you,
If you can fill the average post
With something not insipid nor cut-and-pasted
Yours is a welcome to the Asylum and all that entails,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!

EDIT: Bob damn it, I wish I could spell.

Your terminal illness needs to progress faster, perhaps a smoking or a bus to the head would help.

This should be stickied as a public service announcement.

I will then stand in line for Moe to publicly service me.

That would be hot.

We does not approve of stickies and wikies.

We also thinks that your wiki would make an excellent snack. With some fahva beans and a nice chianti

Free verse!
I do love Kipling. Almost as much as I love Ogden Nash.
Tourists on my tour of Baltimore were always quoted a bit of his wisdom.
