Played up to 200 grains. I hit Vocab Level 43 but I noticed it's a lot quicker to drop than it is to rebuild if you get one wrong.

Played up to 130 grains before getting bored of it.

It seems like for everyone you get wrong, you need three right answers in a row to bring your level back up.

Whatever, it's all for a good cause.

frivolity = non-seriousness??

Sweet Jesus, it doesn't end. I went as high as 40, only to drop back down and hover at 33 with nowhere to go but down really.

Atleast I can mark off charity for this year, wonder if 1010 grains of rice is tax-deductable....

I played to 900 grains with a vocab level of 37 or 38, only because my wife (who talks like a spastic teenage TXT-grrl) took over for a few hundred while I went to the bathroom.

Got up to 400 without missing, then got stumped by kermis.

Obviously I don't spend enough time partying in the Netherlands.

170 grains of rice.

I wasn't sure on this one, and rather than risk the 170 grains I had, I decided to take the rice and run.

There were several I'd never heard of, but could deduce the meaning of from my limited knowledge of etymology.

It was the cat one. That was my guess too as the word sounded kinda nounish. As it turned out I 'guessed' about 5 more after that before I messed up. Reminded me too much of when I was helping my kids study for the SAT.
