I luck out as the only tech that was working today, was following the Geneva Convention. Only once was the vise tight enough to make me want to scream.Smiley: jawdrop All 4 views came out the first time, which doesn't happen often for me, since my 38 D's need just the right position to get all the way on the x-ray plate.

I'm old enough too have more then one mammogram and got my first one at 39, just before my mom found a lump in her left breast. She passed away on 9/1/20 2 years later. Do the math. My oldest was 21 when her first was born.

I was ask by the receptionist how old my middle daughter was today. Her guess was 16, just off by 8 years. She hopes to give me a third grand kid, in the next year or two. The youngest turns 21 on turkey day. All are taken, so don't ask.

What a coinkydink - just got a call from my doctor and said that what they thought was a lump on my right manboob wasn't one...but, they did find a tiny 4mm-sized one on the left manboob. They'll want to check that out in 6 months. So all in all, I'm most likely fine and I'll get to go through the vicegrip of woe in 6 months. Wheee! Still, glad to get these things checked out instead of ignoring them.

It's probably nothing to worry about. It's not unusual for the nodes in there to get inflamed and then go away on their own. I had a fibrous tumor removed from my right breast when I was 16. It turned out to be benign and there is hardly even a scar anymore. I do wish you luck and an easy man boobage squeezing when you go back.

Better to have breast cancer as a guy than to have testicular cancer.

Well.. for the purely physical aspect of I'd doubt it would be as mortifying for a man to lose a breast as it would be for a man to lose a ********.

Hmm. I'd rather lose a ******* than die of breast cancer.

(Breast Cancer in men has a higher mortality rate than testicular. Just to make Smoggy feel better).

Well acne is embarassing and socially stigmatised, while Leukemia shows no outward symptoms, so by your logic, Leukemia is an easier trip than a few zits.

Don't you have toilet seats to lick?

Oh sure.. because that is the same as what I was talking about in any way. Fine, Nobby would rather lose a ******** than to lose a breast. Kind of figures, you did date DF after all. We know she has a penchant for the whips and chains.

I get to keep my grandmother company on her deathbed this weekend. Smiley: frown

Dementia, cancer, old age... she'll likely pass away by Thanksgiving. I hate hospitals.
#45 Nov 16 2007 at 5:32 PM Rating: Decent
That is the worst. If it gets to that point for me, I just want to be brought home and doped up enough that my passing is not painful. Just let me die in my own bed.

I spent Wednesday night in a hospital, with an old senile man dying in the next bed. He spent all night - ALL NIGHT - yelling for God to help him.

I wanted to smother him with a pillow. Luckily I didn't because his wife and daughter came in the next morning as I was getting ready to leave.

Just gained uber faction with the Noblet - he's playing Assassin's Creed on X-Box 360 (Awesome game - highly recommended).

Just bought a copy last night, really enjoying it so far. Nothing says fun like running through a crowd, jumping into the air, and driving a blade into the side of a guards neck. My only wish is for a bit more, unlockables, for lack of a better descriptor. The graphics and the life in the cities is amazing.

Assassin's Creed does look pretty good. Just caught a video for it here:

Assassin's Creed Video

I'll try to pick it up this weekend.

It's almost more of a really good rental if you can get your hands on it. I just had a bestbuy GC that was burning a hole in my pockets so I picked it up. Going to play it, let my brothers beat it, then sell it back for $20 or so towards Mass Effect. $20 for 3 people to play at their leisure is worth it to me.

Keeps my busy now that the wifey got a job, so much free time to play now it's crazy.

List of games to finish...

COD4
Halo 3 legendary (Definitely selling this one back after that)
Assasin's Creed
HF2 Ep 1 & 2
Europa III ( good luck finishing this one)

Passed on Crysis, parts of it drove me crazy, will be picking up Mass Effect soon. PAssed on Guitar hero altogether, just not that much fun imo.

The above list is why not playing WoW or any other MMO is so great. Tons of great games to play and enjoy and I'll still end up playing 1/3 of the time I was before.

By the way, fans of Carcasonne (sp?) with Xbox live should download it off of XBLA, it's free right now. OR it was yesterday due to their 5IVE promotion.
