The fam did their wish list this weekend, and for the first time I actually had no hesitation in asking for stuff I really wanted. Sony came out with the ebook and I must have it. When Ebooks came out long ago I had one of the original versions and adored it. For some reason they didnt take off too well and they were scrapped. It looks like Sony is trying it again and I hope it stays this time.

Looks small to me. I can understand the idea behind it, especially after packing a couple books for the flight when I went to Italy. But the thing itself is maybe paperback sized with the "page" area being only 60% of that.

But then I'm not asking for one so what do I care?

Two hookers and some blow. Or maybe a cute little puppy, I haven't made up my mind yet.

go with the hookers. They're a lot less work and you'll get better enjoyment out of them

Why do chicks always pick form over function?

Of course, if you get it, and keep it for a couple years, the kid in the cheerleader outfit will go nicely with it.

I've no idea what I want for Christmas. Which will only be an issue shortly when my mother calls and gets all exasperated with me because I can't give her a list.

I need clothes, a heavy comforter, a new toaster oven, and possibly a coffee maker since the programmable part of mine has become possessed.

Some new slippers, some socks and a flask.

I feel that I could get more enjoyment out of life if I could tote alcohol with me everywhere I go, but I am embarassed by the thought of always having a brown bag. Just classless, you know?

Besides the iphone, I'm hoping my husband will come through for me on some show tickets for something in Boston, dinner and, of course, a room for the evening.

It helps our anniversary is just a couple weeks after Christmas.

I'd like a Nechville Phantom., but I don't see that happening. So I'd settle for a 24" LCD Monitor.

To be out of debt.

Wait......I'm doing that on my own, and I'll be out of debt before Christmas even comes.

So I'd like a 32 oz. Dr. Pepper, and a bottle of Vodka or Whiskey whatever works. Oh and a pack of smokes.......

The past few years I've been asking for peace on Earth and goodwill to all mankind.

I never liked getting gifts on holidays. It's never what I want, even when I can give specifics.

80 Gig iPod Got that last month.
DVD recorder Nope just bought it at Fry's today. $99 and it has up conversion to 720p/1080i.
Still haven't gotten that winning Lotto ticket. Maybe this Christmas. All I'm asking for is enough to pay off the truck and credit cards and buy a house. That's reasonable right?

In all seriousness, the best gift would be my dad recovering enough from the brain hemorrhage and subsequent pneumonia to be released from the hospital.

FYI DSD, the eBook readers have been around for about 4-5 years. This one looks more compact though.
