...that I'm quitting smoking. No really this time. No seriously, it's been a week.

I wish I was dead.

Fun, ain't it? I'd tell you to PM me for support but, really, my support would be "Yeah, it sure did suck."

Join the club. Today is my first smoke-free day since I stopped for two weeks over the summer. I'm already itching for a fix, but seeing as the S.O. quit a week ago, I figure it's past time to jump on the wagon.

I've gained like 8 pounds...the everfull candy dish next to my desk with all the leftover halloween candy isn't helping.

I've done it before, but since I was pregnant...well, I won't say it was "easier" but you know what I mean.

Give in and have a smoke, it keeps you skinny and in years to come you will have skin like well weathered alligator skin.

I don't have any left. I already smoked all of the ones that Smash hid in various locations throughout my car.

I hate him.

Switch to weed. It's less addictive and it will work well with your oral fixations.

Some one at work must have one! Perhaps a stop by the kwik e mart on the way home. How are you going to get through the harsh maine winter without the warmth of a nice consoling cigarettte?

I can almost hear it burning as you pull in that first drag after a week of abstinence.

Thanks for the help, but the weather helps. Going out in a blizzard for a cigarette makes me feel like the star of one of those "You know why you want to quit" PSAs.

Put on a parka, quit being difficult.

On side note I was going to google some video of people smoking and link it and came upon teh fact that there is a LOT of smoking fetish stuff out there. Women with leathery faces blowing smoke onto guys, slightly skanked out women in leopard print spandex smoking and kissing eachother. I probably should have linked it, if that didn't make you want to stop I don't know what would.

My 2 year old asking me what I've got, and if she can have it pretty much does it for me.

That's what did it for Mr. Ambrya. We went back to Michigan to visit my family for Christmas, and it was 0 degrees not counting the windchill for 3 days running. Suddenly, he had to REALLY want a cigarette to go outside to smoke. By the time we got home, he had made up his mind to quit.

Now he's addicted to the nicotine patches. *sigh*

If I had a child, I'd quit smoking, but as it is cigarettes give meaning to my life.

I've had half a dozen since I woke up almost four hours ago. That's not so bad.

Stick to it! I've been without for over three years now myself, but I still regularly wish I still smoked. And that's after witnessing firsthand the crap you can get by smoking. It can be hell, but the rewards after a couple of weeks and months are worth it!

Heck, saving all that money alone will be. Just focus on what you can get with all that cash!

Hey! They say you're supposed to have a glass of red wine a night. I can't do that every night, so I have to catch up when I have a weekend off.

I'm trying *again*. I can't do it cold turkey, and I know that. So I'm limiting myself to the point that I'm violent before I have one.
