You're a little behind the times Snorre.

I went to a local dive bar tonight to watch the Rockies/Sox game. Needless to say, it was an exercise in futility. However the one good thing was many young gals entering in said establishment wearing scantily clad outfits. Seeing several gals in ********** cop outfits, and little bo-peep costumes made up for the horrendous loss the Rockies suffered.

It's looking like Smash will get to crow over BT. Anyone want to take bets over how ugly that is going to get? Smiley: sly

I bought the Halloween candy a couple of weeks back for the munchkins in my 'hood. Of course, safety inspections of the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and Kit Kat Bars are required duty. Damn you Reeses and your pure deliciousness! Damn you to hell! Smiley: motz

Real life has been great but busy as heck so I totally spaced on making the holiday avatar change...I'll try to be prompt for Turkey day, but I make no promises!

So...we can put pics in our post now? How's that working for ya? As usual, I've not been paying attention.

He'll gloat for roughly 30 seconds, then realize it's football season and move on to how great the patriots are.

At the beginning of football season, I was excited. Now, after seeing the Bears flop spectacularly, I can't wait for NCAA basketball to start.

Well, they're the "New England" Patriots, haha, and I don't watch football...he's on his own there. I figure it works out ok because his brother doesn't watch baseball so he has someone to ***** with in either case.

I didn't know that Boston=New England. Seriously. For all I knew, it was a Vermont team.

No, it means that Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont are too lil for a football team, haha. I mean, in Maine, we're Red Sox fans...there's no major league Maine team. Believe me, if there were, I'd likely have been cheering for them rather than whatever team the guy I'm "boinking" is...I'm not quite *that* codependant.

He likes the Maple Leafs for hockey, but I can't bring myself to cheer for a team from Canadia...let along one that isn't grammatically correct.

I think I might have to start cheering for the Habs or Sens. I am staying up too late to watch the Oilers suck.

In related news, I got my Whalers jersey in the mail on Friday. I've been wearing it pretty much all weekend.

Hey Tare, if the Oilers see the Whale in the finals again, I'm totally coming to visit you.

The Oilers are never making it to the finals again so I guess we're safe. Smiley: laugh

On another completely unrelated note, I had some microbrew this weekend from somewhere in Montana. It was a raspberry ale, and I must say, it was delicious!
