Am I truly deranged for thinking John Cleese is just a little bit sexy anyway?

I suppose it's that creepy, inexplicalbe British sex-appeal thing.

So many to choose from, there are the fantasy ones (like The Princess Bride and Romancing the Stone , not to mention the romance undertones in like 80% of all disney movies)
The real ones (When Harry met Sally , Something's Gotta Give , Serendipity)
The sucky ones (anything with matthew mcconaughey in it. He should stop acting and just do **** , for christ sakes)
I'd have to say Eight Days a Week is my favorite , sure, it is more comedy/coming of age thing,(speaking of that, I thought the way the american pie series played out was sweet) but the quote and the end of the movie really drives it home for me :

Peter wrote:
I now know in my heart of hearts that people are supposed to make love. It is their main purpose in life. All those other activities - playing the violin, washing dishes, reading novels, drinking wine - are just ways of passing time, until you can make love again.

That and the scene where you find out what the old man has been up to the entire movie.

And for a bit of humor:

Pfft. Notting Hill wasn't bad by a long shot , The song by Al Greene on the sound track is damn fine. and the Notebook is standard romance fodder nowadays :
case in point.
