I've got a team that I picked second on, and got lucky when LT fell into my lap. By the end of the draft, I was thinking undefeated. I had LT, Brees, Andre Johnson, Antonio Gates and Adrian Peterson. I'm 4-4.

Ahh, I remember back when I was wrapped in that same comforting smugness, back when it felt like nothing could end the reign of my teams. Back when the Twins were winning the series, Nebraska was the greatest team ever and the Vikings were, well, when they were 15-1 and totally fUcking choked against the Falcons. Those unbeatable Vikings, lead by the most exciting new addition any team has ever seen in the form of one Randy Moss.

I hope BT goes double or nothing on the bet and picks the Colts next week.
What a fucking ride. It is considerably less awesome this time however, as while Boston did come back once again in the ALCS: it wasn't against the Yankees AND we had won another World Series in my lifetime.
And if we do it again in the next couple years, the Sox will be referred to as a Dynasty. Right next to the Patriots, while perhaps BC and the Celtics begin to work on theirs...
