How's it going down?
Red Sox win in 4:9 (15.8%)
Red Sox win in 5:9 (15.8%)
Red Sox win in 6:11 (19.3%)
Red Sox win in 7:8 (14.0%)
Rockies win in 4:4 (7.0%)
Rockies win in 5:3 (5.3%)
Rockies win in 6:10 (17.5%)
Rockies win in 7:3 (5.3%)
Total:57

I say Red Sox in seven...cause that'll be the most fun, and I want them to win at Fenway.

Sox in 6. I'm thinking the extra time off is going to cool down the Rockies and give them time to think about the magnitude of where they are now.

I said Sox in 6 too. But I know nothing about baseball. Hell, I don't even have the good sense to cheer for a hockey team other than the Oilers. And I'm sucking in my hockey pool. Smiley: frown

I've made my prediction pretty clear in the other thread, but this one is better, because it has a poll.

Sox in 5, I'd say. The Rox proved during interleague that they can actually play against the AL but this is totally beyond them. I'm giving them one win at Coors since Boston probably doesn't do well playing in snowstorms.

I hate the Sox, but I honestly don't think the Rockies got a snowballs' chance in hell of pulling this one off.

Hubby's from Denver so of course my marital loyalties are with the Rockies. But I resent them for beating the Padries in that tie-breaking game.

The chatter and google races at the office today have all been about trying to find a blaze-orange Red Sox cap. (lAWl @ Mainers)

I (duh) will be rooting for the Sox, but either way there're gonna be lots of over-tired, whiners about the workplace for the next couple weeks. Smiley: sleeper

Rockies in 4!
As long as the Rockies win, ill be happy. But hopefully it is in 4 or 5 games so they win it at home.

Rockies in 5. When you win 21 of your last 22 you have momentum on your side.

Pitching also looks fantastic. One pitch, one home run.

Oh look, it's getting better already, only a double.

Francis looks great. He only needs a triple to pitch for the cycle for this inning.

Man the Rockies have great pitching. Francis had an ERA of 1.5, Outstanding. What's that? Oh, it's per game, not per inning? Ohhhh....

Based on tonight, Sox in 2 due to Rockies forfeit due to sucking. But I haven't followed baseball this season. Jack Buck did just say Paul Giamatti is the late Bart Giamatti's son. WTF!!?!?!? I never knew that!

Well, the Rocks did have over a week to cool their heels before this game.

Wonder how long that excuse will play. Maybe till opening day?

Good lord that was ugly.

However, some good may come of this. I convinced my friends that due to my track record of rooting for teams that suck (Notre Dame, Oakland Raiders) that they should pay for the championship hat that I purchased today. They tentatively agreed as long as the Red Sox dominate the Rockies and win. So I might get a free hat out of this anyways the way it's going.

Depends on your perception. We here in Boston sure that it was sweet.

That was their best pitching? Gagne's better than that.

I hope Colorado gets it together and win a couple at least or we're not going to end the series in Fenway :(

In the end, he may have five dollars, but I'll be running away with Josh Beckett.

NL teams are so cute. Welcome to the Show boys, remember it's bad form to ask the Red Sox players for their autographs while you're playing the game.
