A friend gives you a link. A link to something so horribly f'ucked up that it makes Goatze seem like softcore pornography. So messed up that even BT would go 'Man, that sh'its f'ucked up right there". You only have their word that it is that bad, but you believe them.

However the link is just sitting their tempting you.

Do you
Stay away from it, your don't feel like bleaching your eyes:18 (28.1%)
Click on it, I believe nothing on the internet can shock me anymore :46 (71.9%)
Total:64

On a side note I clicked the link. It was bad, real bad. If I knew how to do the colour over colour text I might give a blow by blow description but I doubt I would be brave enough to link it.

You sir, have piqued my curiosity.

It's awful, but I can't help but click links like that, even though, believe it or not, I'm fairly easily repulsed. Distended bowels, bloody sex organs, puke, ****; all these things make me instictively flinch and turn away, but there's something that makes me look.

I wish I had a punchline to put here.

Always curious of the the unknown, would you mind pming the link to one interested?

To many of the posters here, and the average heavy internet goer, there is not much shock value left on the wired. We've seen the all the poorly disguised links and clicked on (accidentally or not) all those naughty, naughty pop ups. I remember the horse sex video that was posted in the asylum some time ago, though I have forgotten by whom.

Jaded takes on a new meaning at this point. If I'm expecting a bad link, then it is far too easy to not be shocked, and the same is likely true for many of you. Jaded is no longer seeing a grotesque image for fifteen seconds and then closing it out. Jaded is playing a terrible thirty minute long video in the background while sending emails out of boredom. There is shock resistance and then there is immersion.

Let's see it already.

I give a 50% chance that this is all just a buildup to an unflattering picture of an Alla poster...

I can't believe I'm so incredibly oblivious that your name didn't click until now.
#6 Oct 24 2007 at 2:11 AM Rating: Good
I'd click on it, purely by curiosity, but with the mouse on the "close" button in case it was too gross.

It's a struggle between the desire to see new and schocking things, and the desire not to stick needles in my eyes, at least metaphorically.

I once saw a picture of a mouth where the guy had a weird gum disease. It was just these teeth, and on the gums, an infection that looks like a million tiny puss-filled spots. I felt physically sick just looking at it, and for two weeks afterwards I was forcing myself to see that image in my mind, until I got immune to it.

It's a long and tiring process, and while it might be worth it for gum infections, I wouldn't do it for every single groos thing on the internet.

Otherwise i'd just hang out in =28.

I probably wouldn't click on it if I knew it was hideous. Save myself the trouble of recalling it eleventy billion times later.

I had one similar, it was that email that went out a while ago about the girl who wrecked her father's Porsche by ramming it into a toll booth at over 100mph. Some how they had the police photos out there (snopes has them) and a couple of them made me really queasy. I can still see them, they're burned into my memory Smiley: frown

I'd skip it. Not because of any sense of horror or innocence but because I've never gained anything positive out of seeing internet shock photos. I'll die equally fulfilled having never see a goat pooing into a woman's ******.

Same. Strong empathy response = no need to go there on behalf of someone I can't help.

Dang, Now I've been reminded of a couple of beastiality photos that ambushed me at the end of a link. Good news, I had forgotten them. Bad news, right now I need some mental mouthwash again.

I remember when Ogrish was worth looking at... now it's just another YouTube/Consumption Junction...

Baby images are the one's I won't volunteer to look at... Although I lost my stomach for beheadings a while ago..

I tell you one thing... I drive a bit more careful after seeing some of the accident pictures..

Not going to link it, not going to PM it.

The guild was talking about it on vent during TK:The Eye this evening and when I got done I logged off and spent a good 2-3 minutes ******* around on the internet before I decided that I had to see it. Basically it was video that started off innocently enough with some girl on girl action. Then the gratuitous fecal play with some vomiting came in. Sh'it was eaten, it was grosser than that but that was the main shocker.

Toutem would have had a sh'it fit, pun intended. You know how that guy loves his scat. If that had been two dudes and through a glory hole the boy would climax as he clicked the link.

Still pretty tame though, compared to the video.

Saw something like that over on SA. It was like a SCAT School custom made vid.

Absolutely disgusting.

Old **** is old. About 4 years ago, there was this site being advertised on a popular hacks search engine. The site was called ********************** For a practical joke we had this Filipino designer fellow on staff, fresh out of college, and we (IT guys) decided to give him a hard time. We opened his registry remotely and set his home page to this site. Then, when his manager went to see a proof of a site he was working on, he launched his browser and that was obviously the first thing that came up.

Smiley: lol

Hilarity ensued.

I've seen some pretty disturbing stuff over the years. One of the early ones was a clip of some gal pooing in a dude's mouth. I also recall a clip of some dude getting his head cut off with a huge knife. That one was really bad.

The images of the dead people from that hotel disaster, when the walkway collapsed onto the lower walkways crushing people to death, are still burned into my memory even though it was more than three years ago that I saw it. Some things you cannot unsee or forget.

That wouldn't happen to be the site where the word "cup," played a prominent role would it Sattva? If so then yes, it is quickly becoming the new goatse.

Medical videos or even descriptions of conditions do tend to nauseate me. Other graphical scenes I can stand, but I wouldn't last five minutes in a surgery.
