My vote for PC game of the year. Addictive, completely unique, absolutely hilarious. Only complaint is that it ends.

Definitely worth the $40. The rest of the games aren't half bad either.

Picked up my Orange Box not too long ago, myself.

TF2 is really fun, and definately worth playing.

Honestly, the whole package is worth the money being shelled out.

Fun if you like organized chaos. The levels are a blast, the characters are hilarious, balanced fairly nicely. True teamwork rules.

What's neat is knowing all the ways that Valve will allow mods, maps, extras.

The game looks amazing. It is a shame that FPS type games give me splitting headaches.

Oh well, I waste enough time in WoW right now anyways.

There you go thinking again, we talked about this Totes. Just sit there and look pretty whilst I do my thang and the headaches will decrease dramatically.

How's TF2?

Like TF1 with better graphics and less grenades.

The Orange Box package looms pretty kickass, especially since I seem to have lost my original copy of HL2.

You know you can just download the entire game from Steam for free, right?

I thought it is still $9.99 for HL2.

Now cracked via BitTorrent...

My friend bought it and swears up and down by it as the greatest game ever. I have passed it by a fews times in BestBuy, but my temptation meter has not pegged yet. Mainly because the same friend thinks Hulk (one with Eric Bana) is one of the great comic/movie adaptions of all time too. Sigh.

Half Life 2 and it's expansions as one of the best single-player FPSes ever, Team Fortress 2, the multi-player FPS of the year, and Portal, one of the most batsh*t insane and awesome FPSes of the year.

And all of it for only $49.

So HL2: Episode 2 is on that right?

Loved both HL2 and HL2: Ep. 1. Been waitin forever for that second episode to come out. (not as long as the transition from HL1 - HL2 tho...)

HL2 EP2 is on it. I don't even know if I'll get to it, HL2 never seems to end. It is the longest FPS I have ever played, I must be at over 15 hrs by now.

Right. The line up in the Orange Box is:

HL2
HL2: Episode 1
HL2: Episode 2
Portal
Team Fortress 2

I'd forgotten it was coming out this week. Should be sitting on my doormat, waiting for me.

Didn't know you could download the game itself, just the expansions and TF.

Any game that lets you ***** with physics is going to be fun. Portal took that and added interesting puzzles and a hilarious storyline. I do think in the near future we will see several user made puzzles for Portal.

I've never been much of an FPS fan, but TF2 is something else. The game play is very heavily team oriented (more so than even Battlefield) and people tend to use the voice chat constructively (astonishing). Wouldn't mind getting together for a game with a few Allakhazam posters.

Portal is amazing. Too bad it ends so quickly.

The final fight had me laughing hysterically the entire time.

As for TF2, I'm no good at it, but it's still fun as hell. Sneaking around the enemy as a spy and stabbing their medics in the back is like a recipe for bottled joy.

Boy I loved the original TF. Nothing like spending an entire match as a spy in the enemy's sniper nests.

Serious rate-ups to the person who can find the script for the game.
Specifically the part about having a party but I've killed all of my friends.

"There was even going to be a party for you. A big party, that all of your
friends were invited to. I invited your best friend, 'the Companion Cube'. Of
course, he couldn't come, because you murdered him. All your other friends
couldn't come either, because you don't have any other friends because of how
unlikable you are. It says so right here in your personnel file; 'Unlikable.
Liked by no one. A bitter unlikable loner whose passing shall not be mourned.'
SHALL NOT BE MOURNED. That's exactly what it says. Very formal. Very official.
It also says you were adopted. So that's funny too."

Sauce for all those interested.
