One of my favorite places is The Banjo Hangout (http://www.banjohangout.org/forum/). Probably not much of interest there if you're not a banjo player, but if you are, then its a great site.

While I love the banjo, and all sorts of banjo music, I've found that far too many people who play the banjo are not far off from the portrayal seen in Deliverance. There are exceptions of course, but the number of inbred, slack-jawed, drooling hillbillies posting there can be annoying.

The second biggest problem I have with it is that Religious and Political discussions are verboten... and any post which even mentions something which might be construed as in some way being related to or possibly leading to a religious or political discussion is usually deleted.

Otherwise I limit myself to a couple of motorcycle boards.

I'm a Fark lurker/occasional contributor. Other than that, and here, these days it's been Tacticalgamer.com since I play Battlefield2 there in a sponsored squad.

Also, any MMORPG I may be playing at the time, though right now I'm not, so that's it.

the Somethingawful.com message boards are a constant source of amusement for me. I rarely post there because except for a few forums, anything you might say is lost in a mass of posts.
