I post at the Straight Dope Message Boards. It's a pay site and a much different atmosphere than here. Much more moderated and the sheer size of it means that it's uncommon to see a direct response to your posts within a thread. But it's also full of some intelligent people and interesting topics and, more than once, I've carried a topic from the SDMB to here.

Just about anywhere these days - it's so frickin' slow around here.

I post on a couple mommy boards and that's about it, really.

triangle mommies. I'm trying to network right now and have some people I know down in NC for playdates and coffee dates. I dont want to be bothering Tare every day Smiley: lol.

Fark.com

I barely have time to browse the net though anymore. I'll most likely be MIA until Mid november most of the time. Enjoy it while you can Smiley: grin

I read the forums at zagats once in awhile and have posted a couple times. (reviews eh)

Otherwise just my classes personal forum board each term and gaming sites.

Edit:

Oh yeah, I use a couple different Free-cycle sites and while they're forum-like in structure, they're hardly a discussion board.

I skim the LoTRO boards once in a while despite having not logged in since late August. But I don't have anything to post about since, again, I haven't logged in since August.

That quote by me, may have come out wrong. While I do have a guild forum, mostly I only use Alla's. My 'class' forum I referred to above is my school class. The university has 'blackboard' some forum software so that each class can have it's own board. Some classes use it more than others. Some Profs actually require you to use it. It's pretty handy to keep up on missed notes and stuff.

Well, oops Smiley: smile

My class has an online Blackboard but no one uses the forum feature. We just grab copies of the slide lectures from it.

What can I say about FoH? It's basically just like here except there is no limit to the amount of abuse you're allowed to heap upon your fellow gamers.

I probably have 30k posts or so at slashdot.

I used to post a fair amount at a few poker forums but I haven't posted in any of them for a few years now.

I used to read the official Playstation forums but anymore it's worse than the FFXI main over there. The mods are very heavy handed and it's really only good for checking on new developments with everything Sony. I lurk over at Digg but as of yet I've never posted anything.

I've been on the SDMB since March of 99 (I'm user #199) and I only have about 2500 posts there.

I also shamefully have about 20 post on the Mensa message boards before I came to my senses and decided sledgehammering my balls was better than posting on a board with 1000000 Gbaji's.

You do realise gbaji will read that to mean you believe he is smart enough to be a Mensa member, right?

I do believe that he is, and you, and the vast majority of posters here.

Well, ok, maybe not Totem.
