Your new favorite movie.

I saw the trailer for this when I rented 1408 tonight. As soon as I saw it I had to post this.

I may have to boycott it, because, true story, my little cosuin Brenna ended up on the cutting room floor.

Thanks for the thought though, Kak. I often find myself thinking of you, as well. Usually while I'm blasting the air freshener after a particularly sticky and laborously wiped-away poo.

I still need to see 1408, too.

You've mentioned her before, but I didn't realize who her dad was. So your uncle is David Lee Roth?

Skibbidy bibbidy bop, biddy bop. Biddy bop.

No. Man, I wish.

That'd be way cooler than a self-centered nuclear engineer with an afro.

Just finished it. It was pretty trippy. I can't decide if it was great or I'm just biased. However, it did have Cusack in it, so it's got that going for it.

Also, it had the DVD previews for both Deathproof & Planet Terror, which is pretty cool.

I saw the preview for Black Sheep and thought it was funny if only because they seemed to be playing it straight.

As least you can guess that it's satire. Premise-wise, it's not any worse than Night of the Lepus

Deathproof was horrible to an extent that I can't even describe. The only thing that made it even somewhat tolerable was the fact that Kurt Russel was in it, and he's a badass.

They should have slapped an eyepatch on him and called him "Pliskin."

Black Sheep was mediocre. It was just Farley up to his old tricks. Wasn't Nolte in that one too?

I enjoyed it, but I went into it knowing it for what it was. A tribute to bad "B" movies with lots of no-talent hot chicks in it. Not saying the actresses in this one were no-talent, or at least I wouldn't consider Rosario Dawson in that group. And yes, Kurt Russel is badass. His character wasn't Snake though, that's for sure. More of a Lee Majors/Norman Bates cross... or something.

Planet Terror was certainly the better of the two.

Yeah, different movie. I agree though.

I think Nolte was the crazy Viet Nam vet, wasn't he? Or was that Busey?

Edit: Just checked, it was Busey.

Good call. Always get those two mixed up for some reason.

I liked deathmatch, for exactly the same reasons Kakar did. but to be honest the best bit was the fake adverts.

It's a shame that they never released it asa double bill over here, i think a UK audience would have "got" what they where trying to do, moreso than an American one which clearly didn't.
