It sure is good to see one team out there that knows its place in history. Unlike the Red Sox, who are just another a$$hole town who won the World Series, the Cubbies know their place in baseball history. Chicago recognises that the only thing that makes them special is the fact that they haven't won a championship in eons. Had they won they'd just be Boston West.

Good job, Cubbies. Wait till next year.

A sense of identity is very important these days.

And the truth be told, Red Sox Nation has lost theirs. Proof of this outrageous statement? Just look around and see all the pink Red Sox caps. Seriously, how gay is that? If that's not a bonafide case of confused sexual identity, I don't know what is.

Red Sox Central, not Red Sox West. Were you thinking of the Padres, maybe?

I can't wait to see Boston beat Cleveland for the ALCS.

And the Rockies won tonight, sweeping the Phillies. The fans out here are pretty happy, I'm sure. Even the ones who still have the price tags on their jerseys and caps.

IF they manage to make it to the series, I'm sooo going.

Arizona-Colorado will be the least watched NLCS ever.

Also, it's better the Cubs didn't win. We're just saving it up to win it all in a perfect season, 162-0.

Baseball sucks, the team with the most money wins. Yay for no salary cap sports games.

That tie-breaking game with the Rockies just ticked me off. I can't even talk about it, it gets me so mad.

We might need to wait for Wood and Pryor to get healthy again (which should happen some time in the next 10 years or so).

I'm an NL West guy, so I'll be watching the D'backs/Rockies, hoping they both kill each other in the process. I was kinda pissed off at the Tribe yesterday, but happy in a way that my boss couldn't give me the sweep sh;t. I'll be a happy boy when the Yanks eventually get eliminated in the first round again. And then I will be a Cleveland fan.
