TAMPA, Florida (AP) -- Southwest Airlines said it will apologize to a passenger who was told he would be removed from a flight if he didn't change clothes, the second time in recent months the budget carrier has been forced to do so.

Joe Winiecki, of Largo, Florida, boarded a Southwest flight in Columbus, Ohio, wearing a fictional fishing shop T-shirt which featured the words, "Master Baiter."

Guess I better not wear my "I Got Crabs at Fisherman's Wharf" t-shirt next time I fly. Smiley: frown

Ah, airline companies, the only companies that can treat viable customers like complete shit and still make sales. Quite an unique industry if you ask me.

They just have just forced him to wear a sign reading "My shirt has a tired pun"

I once got stopped by an officer as i was walking through the dockyard because i was wearing a "Dogma" T-shirt, apparently he was a devout catholic and rather objected to the films content.

i made up for it with the classic

"Do you know who i am?"

"No"

"Good, f*ck off then"

Smiley: nod

I'm more convinced every day that starting up a new airline that had an extra large section for the fat people, a partitioned section for passangers with kids, and a topless section for me would do very well.

That'd be easy enough. Just have it be a separate, walled off compartment with windows that open.

Sure, they can be wet. They just can't have any slogans on the front. Smiley: frown

One of my old girlfriends owned the most offensive T-shirt I've ever seen, something released by some crap band she was into. It said in 3 inch high, fluorescent green lettering "jesus is a c**t" She got arrested because of it, held in a cell for 11 hours and received a caution. They also confiscated the shirt.
We split up over it because, even though I believe in free speech, that's just guaranteed to cause offence and I wasn't too supportive. She was upset I didn't take her side in the matter. Laughing didn't help either.

You broke up over a t-shirt?? Wow, that's weak.

In other news, I have a shirt from the 80's that says "I hate Michael Jackson". My dad bought it when Thriller was huge and it was quite funny. I still have it but now it just doesn't seem that funny anymore.
