The thing that kept me from reactivating before is that I have no expansions (which I realize I don't really need, but would like to have anyway). Now that you can get all the expansions in one set, I'll most likely get them. After I decide if I'm liking the game again.
DSD and hubby will PL you. They are wonderful at it!

I haven't logged on in about a month, but I recently promised DSD that I would do so soon. Unfrotunately, I'm having a hard time finding time to play till close to ten o'clock my time, which is late for folks to the east. Also, by the time ten at night rolls around, I usually just want to get drunk and fall asleep.

No! I refuse to get sucked in again! I don't know any of you and I don't what this thing you call EQ2 is.
I was really interested in getting back into the game and playing around. Then I logged in and did a raid or two, did a dungeon and stuff and realized that I had no money, my character needed a lot of work, and that I had no fracking clue how to make money without sitting out in some horrible zone killing a bajillion mobs for a stupid drop.

Actually did. Now smoking and bar hopping, not so much.
I haven't been on in a couple of weeks - too much stuff going on in reality at the moment, which isn't a bad thing. I just started a new work schedule doing 4 10-hour days and having every Friday off.

idiot. It's amazingly simple to make money if you hang out with SK and me. Ask Bloodwolfx. I took him out the other night, just the two of us and we had 4 master chests drop in under an hour. Off of trash mobs, no less.
Not to mention you've got Tare, Sk, myself, Bloodwolfx, and Snorre (kind of) who are a part of our guild now. And the whole guild is virtually back and we're having a blast.
Git yer *** back in the game one of these days. We can help with your char, and get you situated. Just get off your *** and stop whining.
I haven't been on much either lately. I am painting in my house, busy with the kids since Mr. Tare started his MBA part time, and I'm trying to work out 3 times a week.

Yeah, Ive been logging off early myself the past couple weeks. By the time I'm done packing for the day, calling people to get things going, dealing with realtors, inspections, home appraisals and kids, I'm pooped. I am actually logged on now, but I'll probably be logging off no later than 10. Then Im gonna go pass out into peaceful oblivion.

So how is Bane progressing in terms of raiding? Also how far off till the new expansion?
Been rocking WoW with my 70 Draenei Paladin. No girlfriend means I actually put my nose to the grindstone and kill time by being raid ready with pots/consumables and I have been kicking *** on the healing meters on our raids.

They raid at least 2, sometimes 3, nights a week. Seems pretty organized but I haven't been on many.

Bane is taking a more casual approach to raiding, meaning we're doing it for fun. On that note, we're kicking major *** and having a ball. We own Mistmoore inner sanctum, and we're working on technique for Mayong himself. Free Thinkers Hideout has been owned. Theres not many more raid instances we need to conquer before expansion, so its good ROK is coming out soon.We still do DT every once in awhile if theres not many on, just for loot.
We've had an influx of new recruits who are pretty cool. We're hoping to add more raids to the week only so everyone gets a chance to raid.
Groupage is still to be had. We owned den of devourers the other day for Tare, and a group of us got together last night and helped her for her MOA quests. Afterwards we decided to go through Halls of Fate and whipped through it in under an hour. Good times, good loot.

Ok, logged in tonight. Character is Enica (one of them, anyway). The game looks and plays so much better on my new computer. Maybe I'll see some of you tonight!

gona check out the new expansion and see what they did with ROK when it launches. but just cant get into the fighting. just too much like sawing wood. having too much fun with the pvp raids ATM in WoW.
if DAOC had done what WoW did with pvp raids in their relm vs relm, it would still be alive a kicking instead of a vertual ghost town like the rest of em. no down time, no long waits for guild to organize, available 24/7, and constant mass murder.
my kind of mahem. chiping away at overpowered mobs while spamming gee wiz buttons just....makes my fingers ache.

Wargs are indeed pretty nice looking, very cheap too, especially compared to the equivalent other mounts. Still did sell mine to get money for Wu material though.
Going to start saving for the new mount of the next expansion, a rhinoceros sure does sound nice to ride as a frog!
