So it's time for the Official Quarterly Kid Pic Thread.

This weekend, Hannah, her dad, and I went apple picking!

Hannah loved picking apples, claiming that every tree was my favorite tree and asking in earnest if each apple was my favorite apple before putting it in the bag.

She tested some to make sure they were ok.

The apple orchard also had a petting zoo, and pumpkins (though we didn't take one home this time. The orchard also provided free carts, which I thought was pretty cool.

Ok, now your turn!

My goodness she's getting big. We took some of Aedyn in her Halloween costume.

The fit she threw when we took the costume off her was worthy of a devil costume, if only we had one.

haha, I was going to say, you're braver than me to let her try it on. We'll take pictures on the day, because Hannah's going to want to keep it on all the time.

She's adorable Wint, and those ears were made to play the part of a fairy or elf of some kind, hehe.

The cute quotient in this thread is threatening to melt my glacial heart.

Better head out to work. That'll restore it!

Lol, while kids in halloween garb are adorable, I don't miss having to create a warm, walkable, and yet somewhat authentic looking costume. I do miss having my kids to go apple-picking with me. I just go to the orchard now and buy um already picked. Smiley: frown

Well, my offspring are about the ages of some of you goons. But, here's my daughter at Muggle Fest 07. My son hasn't been near a camera in ages.

edit to fix link...I hope.

Smiley: frown My computer is acting like a slug today from Jonwin tried to load EQ on it. So no cute overload on my end. I'll try to get it whip back up to speed when I get home today and look at picks then.

My Brother took some great photos at wedding yesterday, of Erin and Ian. Watching Erin try to line dance, was highlight of the reception. She loves to dance and smile with pure pleasure with the bridal party. Ian was in his terrorist mode, so we spent more time chasing him and telling him to behave, so not sure how photos of him will turn out. Maybe Pat got one of him playing with another boy's DS quietly. I should get copies in next day or two. That or I keep checking the bride's MySpace page.

About a month ago was Samantha's birthday. After all the cake she'd consumed (Baptism on a Saturday w/ cake, B-day on Sunday with cake), she was a little wired around dinner time that Sunday evening. After her head bobbing episode, we realized she just wasn't going to go to sleep. She hit aggressive mode where she began acting out Rambo scenes in the kitchen. Was a lovely end to August.

I'll have cute monkey pictures once we get closer to Halloween, and when I finally get around to unloading the 500+ pictures lodged on my camera's memory stick due to my own laziness to move them from the camera to the PC.

they know if theyre' too cool to dress up then they're too cool for candy, right? I have a rule in my house. No costume, no candy. I'm known on the street for it. If I'm doubtful of some teens costume I ask them upfront what they are. If they cant answer in 3 seconds, no candy. Sorry, but you have to work for the sugar! It's not free, you know Smiley: oyvey

Easier than making her carry a sign around to ward off p3d0s saying "Please don't squeeze"...
