Michelle Ryan was easy on the eye in Eastenders, but I could never see past the "Cor Blimey, luvva duck!" cockneyisms and the fact that she played a complete slapper.

Is she any good as the Bionic Woman?

Didn't live up to the hype.

I haven't seen the original, so I can't compare it to that.

But honestly...

It seemed like they were ripping off virtually everything from Buffy to Dark Angel. The effects are really cool in my opinion however, and I would be lying to say that I didn't enjoy them. I also understand that the show is going to obviously develop Jamie's sister's story at some point this season, but I felt like they didn't really explain her...sporadic...appearance in this episode.

Something that really bothered me about this show after it was over was the fact that they don't really EXPLAIN anything about the technology that is implanted into Sommers. In a show that is based around the technology, they need to have a decent explanation of it...which they really don't.

Sackoff did a -really- good job as the 'evil bionic woman', however, and she was the only reason that I stuck around to watch it.

Honestly, I hope this episode isn't fully representative of the show...because if it is, then there is no hope for it in the long term.

I just necroed this thread to say Michelle Ryan is Smiley: thumbsup

I'll never watch Bionic Yoghurt Woman, but some geek will hopefully edit out the hot bits, and stick'em on Youtube.
