Trying to decide if I'm willing to drop the $7 to see it in theatre. I liked the first one, second one was lacking.

From the trailers, it looks like it might be worth seeing just for the special effects...but I'll be watching it from home.

I don't blame you, I imagine taking Smash out in public would tax anyone's patience.

I'll be here all week.

Planning to see it when it hits the military base so we can see it for free. I heart military benefits.

Free? It was never free on any base I was stationed at. Certainly cheaper, but never free.

It was free at Lemoore and it's free at one of the bases in San Diego too.

There's also special preview screenings too before the movie premieres. Thats how we got to see the Transformers. And that was free too. Smiley: grin

Weird. I must have been in the wrong branch... or the wrong side of the country. The movies on base weren't free at Keesler or Eglin. IIRC they were around 2 or 3 bucks though. Typically the movies were towards the end of the release by the time the base theatre got them though.

I'd be much more inclined to see the new movie if it actually followed the plot lines in the game(s).

I'd watch it if I liked the games, enjoyed horror action movies or wanted to pay $10 to sit in a different seat.

So yeah, no.

I've had thing for Milla Jovovich since the The Fifth Element so I'll probably rent it at least.

I've had a thing for Milla Jovovich since Dazed and Confused, but she didn't show her happy parts till Resident Evil.

I saw it. It was worth the student price of $7.50.

I went to it opening weekend. By far the best of the three. Read into it what you will.

I did post a mock review in the OOT if you want to take a look.

Just say Extinction, and Smiley: thumbsup.

Semi-spoiler ahead.

There is a lot of room for a fourth movie. 10,000 Milla clones all naked. Smiley: thumbsupSmiley: thumbsupSmiley: thumbsup

Well done movie and the best of the 3 hands down. The ending though totally screams "I was written by Paul Anderson". I am all game for another but how it ended just wasn't satisfying enough.
