Nobby if me putting items on the same plate is bad (they weren't even touching!), then you definitely can't do a bento...

Why put it in a tiny little box when you're just going to dump it out onto a plate anyways? Smiley: confused

That is an interesting question. I'd pick Tare. Because I know that in the end, we'd both totally be using each other and I respect a woman who is confident enough in her sexuality to use and abuse me.

Which is odd, because I know nothing about Tare.

She's also made a few comments about spending some time in "happy land." Whatever that means.

Yes, well, we're having a difficult time coming up with fresh ideas on how to make our food more fattening.

PBJ? GFY!!

I don't know if it's the same way in the rest of the world, but in the US, many commercial peanut butters come pre-sweetened, making them an already semi-sweet food. Sugar is actually the second highest ingredient in Jif brand peanut butter.

Quote:
MADE FROM ROASTED PEANUTS AND SUGAR. CONTAINS 2 PERCENT OR LESS OF: MOLASSES, PARTIALLY HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OIL (SOYBEAN), FULLY HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OILS (RAPESEED AND SOYBEAN), MONO- AND DIGLYCERIDES AND SALT.

Since peanut butter around here is quite sweet, mixing it with jelly is only a natural progression. And quite a delicious one at that.

And for added fun, I learned something today about peanut butter.

Quote:
In 2004, University of Georgia scientists developed a peanut butter dispenser to make peanut butter sandwiches. It resembles a hand-held, bulk tape dispenser and squirts out peanut butter in sheets.[8] Using high pressure and high temperatures, it is possible to transform peanut butter into diamonds.[9][10]

Yeeaaa, that's a bit disingenuous, as anything with carbon in it under enough heat and pressure can be turned into diamonds.

Yeah, I know. I was more interested in the device for even lazier sandwiches.

mmmm... I first tried that at a restaurant on a dare and holy crap is it amazing. Never ever would have thought it would be good, but it's not just the hamburger thing, it needs to also have bacon on it.

Sounds horrifying, but it's yummy has hell.

Peanut Butter and Marshmallow Fluff. Best served, of course, on Wonder Bread.

I'm thinking no PB will ever become a diamond. NO MATTER WHAT!

Seriously though...there has to be an efficient way to turn peanut butter into a viable energy source.

I still prefer peanut butter and jelly, or peanut butter on celery... or straight out of the jar.

and it just hit me, peanut butter ISN'T savoUry, it's salty... and sweet and salty rock together.

I'd have to agree w/ DF - peanut butter isn't savory. Savory would be the description you give some amazingly seasoned steak that makes your entire mouth sing due to the perfect combination between steak and herbs used. Savory can be a mixed combination that varies anywhere from slightly sweet with spicy and a hint of something else, to salt and peppery with some basil and oregano thrown in.

To add to the list of "perfect peanutbutter combos" I'll have to add my own concoctions:

Peanut butter rice crispy treats
Peanut butter (chunky) oatmeal
Peanut butter mixed with chocolate chip vanilla icecream w/ honey added (tastes like reeses pieces in icecream form)

I know that Deep Fried Mars Bar/Snickers etc came from our friends in Scotland, thats right kids a mars bar, coated in batter, and then fried.

Not only could this fur the arteries of even the most atheltic person, but the heat that deep fried caramel can get to can also result in facial disfigurement when eating.

My Glaswegian friend confirmed the Scot's love of deep frying, at the recent Scotland v France game, 1500 of them walked through the Champs Elysee singing "We're gonna deep fry your croissants!"
