Lol, the "N" word? guess you got a long way to go, eh.

If nigger was the name of the dog in RL, I'd leave it.

Edit, guess we got a long way to go if Alla's filter kicks it out too.

Hence the "N" word. I don't mind the word nigger at all, I was just too lazy to break the filter.

I voted no - don't mess with history, just because it is now politically incorrect!

Also, as an ex-617 Sqn member (1983 - 85), I'd have to say that the poor pooch will be spinning in his grave under RAF Scampton's main runway if Jackson does bow to the PC crowd...

The lancster bomber and the dreaded bouncing dam bomb. In a knife fight to the death, i'd give 3 to 1 odds on the lancaster totally shanking a B-24 liberator.

There's going to be problems either way.
In the UK there is a great deal of respect for Barnes Wallis and the bouncing bomb.If you change anything about the history a lot of people will be offended,if you don't change it a lot of people will be offended.
A pity. However this plays out will detract from what is a remarkable story of determination, dedication and bravery.

People will be offended if the name of the dog is changed?? I'm not talking about the event details. Maybe people in the UK need to untwist their knickers in advance.

...All of which reminds me of the Senator who apologized profusely for using the word "niggardly" in a budget debate because people took offense to the sound of the word.

It makes me laugh and despair at the same time.
