I would actually go with a combo of the two sinks, the taps from the first pic, and the blown glass bowl from the second. Or something similar. Very clean simple taps, with a very organic looking blue basin. The sink area would have to be the focal point for the bathroom then.

My bother-in-law actually designs modern houses, and when I'm finally able will do all the drawing for a new kitchen and bath for us. (BTW this is Elne, here.) I grew up touring the lastest in modern Architecture. Those sink choices aren't anything I would suggest. YYou want to keep it simple, and yet elegant. but if you want a sink that will be a focal point, go with something natural or glass. I like the idea of this, if you want something different faucet with a wading pool lavatory. I'm not about to go hunting for a sink for you. What I dream of would be, a stone basin with waterfall like faucet. Think Falling Waters.

BTW in looking for a natural stone sink, I found supplies for our clawfoot tub. I'll get a hand held shower in the upstairs bathroom, once I can afford it. I hate the shower in the basement.

It's funny that you mentioned that faucet. I loved that faucet, but we had to go with a wall mount. If I did not have jet-fill for hte bath, I was going to go with this waterfall one.

I have thought of putting in an outdoor version of something like that tub. The weather is so nice here, and we have such a private yard in such a quiet neighborhood that I think I'd prefer ******** (er, I mean...um...enjoying a private moment with Mrs. Yoyo) outside.

However, we have small kid 1.0 and kid 2.0 is on the way so we're really not in full monkey sex mode anymore.

This particular tub comes in an outdoor polymer and also has a spa package that allows you to use it like a hot-tub. Check out their site for more info.

I saw that! Looks awesome!

I should have written: "I have thought of putting in the outdoor version of that tub, or something like it."
