ve to go meet Jonwin downtown before the Baltimore Science Fiction Society meeting this evening, so I may head down early for the con. I like to try to see some of the artist I know and meet a few others.

Question: Is it nerdy geek, or geeky nerd?

I don't have a nerd to get on, so I get my geek on instead. Today I got my geek on by gluing a fake fingernail to the index finger of my right hand and frailing a long-neck, open-backed, 5-string banjo.

I saw some Scottish group that was mostly drums, with one dude on bagpipes and they absolutely rocked the house. I was going to buy their CD but got sidetracked by a good looking blonde in a wenches outfit and a Guinness booth, never made it to the band's booth on time before they closed.

I've been to this shindig a few times, and it's been a load of fun each time. Nothing like seeing a dude throw a tree just after tipping a pint of Guinness to put things in perspective.

Like anything a women-hating, cross-dressing, closeted admirer of muscle-bound men says has any merit in my life. Smiley: laugh
