Friday - Woke up, packed and began the travel to Vegas. Flight left at 1250pm and landed at 2pm. Got the bags, got the shuttle, and hit the hotel around 3-330pm. Relaxed in the room for a bit then went to the casino to kill time befor dinner. Ate at an Italian place in the hotel that was definately NOT worth what we paid for. After dinner did a bit more gambeling, went to Margaritaville for some drinks and to find out a good bar to go to. The Bartender was extreamly helpfull and suggested Rum Jungle. that place rocked. Great bar, lots of room, and a dancefloor to get your groove thang shakeing. Left there around 2am, got back to the hotel and crashed out around 3am.

Saturday - I woke up at 8am, packed the bag with books, sunscreen, phone, wallet, room key, smokes, and the room charge information. Headed down to the pool to stake out 2 good seats for us. Got down there and spent 15 minutes looking for 2 seats together. I was talking to some of the people who were allready down there and they said people were lined up at 730am to get into the pool area so they could stake out their seats. In-bobdamned-sane. Found 2 seats for us, left my stuff there and asked another couple near me to watch them so i could go get us coffee/food/whisky for my coffee. Wifey came down around 930am and we sat by the pool talking to people, drinking, and eating untill 6pm. SPF 50 is my savior. My irish *** didnt get so much as light pink! Now you may ask why we spent so much time by the pool? The flamingo pool is supposedly the #1 rated pool in vegas and we just wanted to relax. didnt feel like walking around in thw 110 degree heat and didnt want to blow all of my gambeling money away (I lost 200$ at the blackjack tables as it is that they have by the pool). after we decided to leave the pool, we went upstairs to shower/get dressed and take a nap. woke up from the nap around 9pm and got ready to go hit Polly Esther’s. Stopped off at margaritaville for dinner, grabbed a cab, headed to the club, and stayed there till 2am. Got back to the hotel around 230/3am and crashed out.

Sunday - Spent the day same as saturday. Up at 8am to get pool seats. Booze/sun/fun. I neglected to add that the flamingo pool has a little watterslide that is fun as hell. went down that a few times on sunday. packed it in at 4pm. went up and took a nap till around 8pm. decided that we wernt going to go out and hit a club that night because we were leaving the next day. I called down to make rezzers at Hamada of Japan
they cook your meal at your table and was the BEST meal i had all weekend. After dinner, we puttered around the casinos. wifey went to the penny slots while i went to the 15$ blackjack tables. end of the night i was down 300 for the trip and she was down 200.

Monday - woke up, packed, went to breakfast at Tropical Breeze Cafe went back upstairs to do express check out and put out bags at the bell desk. Gambled a bit more and lost my final 100$ to a dealer who got ten 20's in a row. that put me in a foul mood so i went and sat next to the wife while she lost he last 100 aswell. Trip total losses? 400$ each. I wont list in detail on our return trip. we got home arouns 330pm. picked up the stepdaughter from her dads place, ordered take out for dinner because i was to beat to cook. went to bed around 9pm.

On Saturday, got the Bestman, the Fathers (all 3 of them), Groomsmen (3), 2 Ushers, Flower Girl, Ring Bearer, the Bride and myself, all fitted for Tuxes and Dresses for our wedding in 32 days (gah!).

Sunday: Drank and played Disc Golf and Bean Bags for far to many hours.

Monday: Nursed hangover and considered giving up drinking forever.

Comedy show was funny, but the food sucked. We should have just had a late night dinner after the show.

Saturday was all day school shopping in the heat wave.

Sunday had to do my take home final. And had a friend over who wanted to double-tag a moogle with the hubby.

Monday was laundry, watched hubby fix the kitchen sink and we all complained about the heat.

Oh, and the friend smashed a hamster to death by accident (hamster got out of her cage a couple of days prior and we've been looking for her since) and our chinchillas succumbed to the heat wave.
