I'm so not missing the Central Valley.

Got the thunderstorms here in San Diego too, but the clouds have since dispersed, the sun is shining and now the air just has that freshness that only rain can bring. Smiley: grin

September-October comprise our summer months here. By "summer" I mean clear warm days with little fog.

This morning the sunrise was fantastic. It was a golden peach horizon reflected back by thousands of small clouds. It's 65F right now, likely to hit 80 later today. Pretty much perfect.

the hotter it gets, the more water is evaporated into the atmosphere, the more thunderstorms you get.

deserts are only deserts because there is no mosture to suck up. otherwise, they would be in a constant state of thunderstorms.

weather lesson aside, you boitches arnt laughing at our hurricanes any more are you? hehehehe

one word. move.

I stayed in the city. I considered going to the Art & Soul festival but figured it would be a pain getting home with everyone crowded onto BART.

Never heard of that one. Where was it held at?

Usually on Labor Day weekend we hit the Millbrae Art and Wine Fest since we can walk to it...
