By all means, let's not set out to offend one another, except on Internet fora. But when you're giving a description of jewel thieves in the newspaper, presumably so that witnesses can come forward and assist in finding them, doesn't it make sense to give their race?
We know what they're wearing. We don't know anything about what they actually look like. Good game.
