VANCOUVER, Wash. - Police are on the lookout for a person who fired off shots in a Vancouver neighborhood Monday afternoon.
The shooting, described as a drive-by, happened in the area of Northeast 18th Street and Norris Road.
Witnesses told KATU News they heard between five and seven shots.
It is unknown whether anyone was struck by a bullet, although early reports indicate two people may have been shot.
Police immediately shut down streets in the area to investigate.

The one time I've been to Vancouver I thought to myself, "Gee, this place is way too close to Portland".
Also, my only trip there was to pick up the PC I bought off Craigslist. I show up at the dude's apartment, and this huge black man comes to the door crying. And I don't mean a little bit, I mean tears rolling down his cheeks and his breath catching in his massive bossom. Turns out his pitbull had just gotten into his pepper-spray and managed to puncture the cannister, making his pad rather toxic. I was pretty happy to get back to my little farm, after spending an afternoon with pitbulls, pepper-spray and sobbing men.

I had these two spiders in the bathtub out in my kennel building today that were the stuff of nightmares. No fUcking around, I bet they were three inches across, and they looked, well, strong. I grabbed a hose and started spraying them, and they managed to fight through it with their legs flailing around, grabbing the smooth surface of the tub and running from me until the heat kicked in and scalded them. Even then, they didn't die, just rode down the drain.

Meh. 5 to 7 shots is no big deal.
It sounds like my neighborhood. In the past year, there's been 2 shootings, 2 arsons and a knifing. I soooo need to move.
