I removed myself. Right after a 30min session of hit the spacebar, err, fire the cannons, I defecated onto my keyboard and swore to never game again.
So in other words I am correct in running away from any intention of doing this beta 
I did notice, when uninstalling the client, that it was only half the size of my Sid Meier's Pirates! install. I thought that was kind of funny.

I loaded it up and played for about 15mins..twice, then forgot about it. Never did get to blow up a ship. I might have to try it one more time. I was pretty excited about my cool outfit, but everyone still looked just like me. All the girl pirates seem to be drawn to the same hat.
