We usually have CSI on most of the time now; she's been watching Friends in bed again after a hiatus of several months. Oh and All my Children, since she DVRs it and watches it after work every day.

And the usual Discovery/Science channel stuff in bed, until she falls asleep and I put on the Golf Channel to put myself to sleep with.

Been watching Burn Notice, Psych, Monk on USA alot lately.

When that isn't on, I am usually watching either Big Brother or Law & Order (any of the various versions of it, really).

All episodes, in order:

Dexter,
Scrubs,
Heroes,
The Lost Room,
Dr Who,
Torchwood.

I'm horribly frustrated more episodes of Dexter and Torchwood won't be out for ages. Why does real-life creation take SO LONG? Dexter is just all sorts of amazing goodness, and Torchwood is my fix of hot TV sex and rampant bi-sexual kissing, with occasional Sci-Fi digressions.

Scrubs is hilarious, everyone I show it gets hooked. Heroes is standout TV. The Lost Room is more of a miniseries, but a great little gem. Dr Who is a must for anyone who grew up with the old series. I really couldn't tell you how someone who has only seen the modern version would like it.

The Young Ones! I first saw that 20 years ago, when I was little. It was hilarious, but I can tell you now, a ten year old brain found it indelibly strange.

If you like The Young Ones, you might like Bottom, which has two of The Young Ones cast in it, and is also comedy. I personally don't like Bottom much, I spend too much time being distressed on behalf of the characters.

Coupling and Black Books are much more my cup of British comedy.

Watching any of the above shows with ad breaks is a desecration that I will not commit.

The Venture Brothers.

Seasons 1 and 2 are on DVD.

Other than a little bit of the Hitler History channel and Discovery I don't watch any TV.

The only thing I watch on the big networks is football.

Reality TV is teh suck.

Dexter is pretty cool, no doubt.

With regards to british comedies, you gotta give Green Wing a try. It's whacky crazy Brit humour, it can't really fail. I'm pretty sure you've seen all the classics already, Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, Little Britain, etc...

As for films, I've watched Kung-fu hustle and Shaolin Soccer back-to-back. I know I'm probably a few years late, but if you want really funny semi-serious semi-parody kung-fu films that basically redefine the genre, you gotta see them. Pure gold.

Rowan Atkinson has the most incredible ability to transform his screen presence. You take him playing Mr Bean, or some of his Blackadder incarnations, and a more chinless, sniveling passive-aggressive snot-nosed nerd you have never seen. Then in other Blackadder incarnations he's charismatic, forceful, chiseled and drop-dead sexy. Mr Bean and Blackadder are both comic genius.

When I was 10 and watching Fawlty Towers when it first came out on Australian television, I spent half the episodes either hiding behind the couch, or running out of the room, because I couldn't endure the embarrassment of the situations he got himself into.

Little Britain I enjoy, Kung-Fu Hustle WAS Pure Gold, and came up beautifully in the cinema. I need to get a hold of Green Wing and Shaolin Soccer.

Too bored to find something better on, Joph and I finally caught our first episode oever of this just last night. Most of the episode was spent confused by the 'plot' and missing whole chunks of conversation because we were both marvelling at Beth's rack.

Monk, Psych and Burn Notice on the USA Network have been my guilty pleasures of late.

And whatever's on HGTV at the moment.

I'm enjoy those shows, too! Gotta love Bruce Campbell in Burn Notice. Psych is also terrific - I got hooked on it last season. Monk just keeps getting better.

I record those shows as well as Harvey Birdman, Futurama, and my one reality show guilty pleasure, Scott Baio is 45 and Still Single.

Love the Dresden Files - looking forward to its next season.

I'd like to get a hold of the DVDs of Extras, starring Ricky Gervais.

They're canceling John from Cincinatti? Figures, since I like it.

Just been watching Big Love and waiting for Heroes to come back on. For the most part, TV sucks.

I still watch re-runs of the Simpons and Family Guy.

There's not many new shows that we watch (only have local channels). We watched Hell's Kitchen when it was on, and my wife is a sucker for any signing show.

There seems to be a pretty good line up of shows coming to locals this fall, some I'm looking forward to more than others.

New Amsterdam
Pushing Dasies
Life
Dirty Sexy Money

and of course the next season of House will start soon. I can't say why I like that show, a guilty pleasure I guess.

I saw a fascinating documentary on Syria on the documentary channel last night. Regularly, I watch the Daily Show and the Colbert Report. My baby loves the intro to the Colbert Report. She used to wake up (from that sleep/sucking thing babies do) and roll over to watch. Particularly the eagle. Now she does "the Colbert dance", which is roughly:

1. Stand up, slightly bent at knees.
2. Raise arms to shoulder level, bend elbow to 90 degrees and hold arms parallel to ground
3. Smile maniacally
4. Bounce up and down with the music
5. (Just added about last month) while jumping around in a circle
6. When the music stops, exclaim "Yay!" while clapping.

Sometimes we replay the intro a few times in a row in hopes she will ware herself out and fall asleep faster.

Well I was enjoying Ice Truckers, seaons over, reruns on now, might keep watching but I doubt it.

Ray loved that show. But my reality show guilty pleasures are Run's House, Gene Simmons' Family Jewels and Hogan Knows Best. The trifecta of daddies looking out for their family. I would love to have a BBQ with those families.

I still watch the Family Guy everytime I stumble on it on Cartoon Network. And seriously, ten seasons of Stargate? That's just freaking scary.

Oh. I've also been watching that MMA series on Fox sports where it's teams against teams. I can't remember the name of it for the life of me. There's a handful of damn good ground fighters in that league too. COurse there's a good bit of scrubs, but hey.

When my TV is on, it's either gonna be History Channel, History Channel International, Military Channel, or BBC America.

I can't stomach the News channels anymore.
