Darn it sounds like my kind of weekend. I want access to all the drunken debauchery pictures taken over the 3 days. Luckily I wasn't able to go, no matter how much I wished. I've been suffering from a nasty round of headaches and would have ended up hiding under the covers in a darken hotel room.

So Kas, did you stay just to meet up with some of the local TP'ers? I'm too lazy to check the boards over there. Too much drama. Plus I imagine that having them around Ayslumites, would be like planning a party with ITB. Smiley: grin

Brill I may have to pass any more bashes in Pittsburg. Last time I was there I ended up having to crash on friend's futon for 2 nights, due to the flooding along the train route to Philly. The route to Wash, D.C. was clear the day before, but neither of us wanted to get up at 2:30 in the morning, just so I could get the 3:30 train east.

And darn Twiz, I always felt, that good sex, is a excellent cure for headaches.

too many comma's?

My fault, I'm retarded. Yes, I did get it, and had every intention of playing it for everyone when they came to my room later. I told Smash to listen to it and he said, "how do you save it?" and I said to push "2" which...as it would turn out...deletes it. I did tell everyone you said hello and such though!

So did Flea discretely intercept the waitress and correct his order, or did he save face my manfully eating every last mouthful of "Accident of Table-cloth with Fabric-conditioner and schoolboy" and make "Yum" noises troughout?

Honestly, there's just a cloud of mist and a sound like a wood chipper when I'm eating. It would take a CSI like team three or four days of analyzing table cloth stains to actually figure out what I'd ordered.

Smash doesn't lie. From now on, anytime he goes off on me about some political thing and implies that I'm retarded, I'm going to remember the giant mess he left at the hotel restaurant and just laugh.

I can't really add much to what Joph has already said. No one wants to hear my particulars about getting to Chicago. All I can say is that a weekend isn't long enough. I didn't spend nearly enough time with Tare, Nexa, or Smash, and for that I'm truly sorry. Next year I'll have to make it a point to hang out more with those I didn't this year.

It was a wonderful time. For anybody who hasn't been to one, it's probably not something that can be easily described. Going in you have pre-conceptions about everyone. Some are spot-on while others are so completely off base you're stunned. I really don't have much to say. I am back home, but I'm not quite here yet.
