Meh, I might have said something a few times. But I didn't press the issue to get access to Fleas journal.

My mother has this annoying habit of wanting to come to my house for the Iowa State Fair on 8/18-19. And it's the wifes B-day so it never would have flew anyway.

I've checked and yeah, still can't come next weekend. Now I'd appreciate it if you'd quit rubbing it in.

It's not based on invitations. Think of it like a group of strangers talking at a bar. Not just ordinary strangers, but cool people strangers. We can pick out each other in places like that; we are just naturally drawn to each other. If some four-eyed **** monkey just waltzed up squakin' like a jive turkey, he'd immediately be shunned. Kinda like if that fat, ugly kid that lives with his grandparents and has a hot mom showed up to Chicago. I forget his name but he's really annoying and kinda dumb and has a serious hard-on for that guy with the Legendary custom title. I think he's from the sandbox. And he spams a lot, or maybe he's writing serious posts; I'm not really sure. I don't read them. You know who I'm talking about, though. I want to say his name is 'Ben'. He looks like someone took a pig, flipped it upside down with a pole sticking out its ***, and stuck a watermelon on the pole for his head. Ring any bells?

Anywho, the point of the story is that kid sucks. No, wait, that's not it. The point is that if you're cool enough to be invited (if invitations were made, of course) you would know that you are cool enough and you would just show up. Elite people have a sense of entitlement that allows us to automatically assume that we are accepted because we're the **** and why wouldn't someone want us there. Everyone likes the cool kids.

Alas, I'm unable to go.

I checked and I just can't swing it. I have a family party this weekend and yet another family party the following weekend. Then my father's birthday the weekend after.

I really want to blow off everything and just take off, but I know if I do that, the crap is going to hit the fan and things will get worse on my end.
