Bad news first:

Sadly, I won't be able to attend this years get together in Chicago. Flea please remove access to your journal, I haven't read any of the personal info so there is no need to worries.

Good news:

The reason I won't be able to go is because I have to work. I just got a job working for Pfizer. This will be my first job working for an evil corporation. Now I can really ***** about 'the man' and this country's health care system. yay me!

Edit: apostrophe and plural don't mean the same thing...

lolz yeah right. I don't like people enough to be able to sell them things. "You! Buy my ****, now!" doesn't usually go over very well. Oracle EDC and I*net support, some programming down the road, and some network stuff. It's a pretty cake job where I basically get to **** off for half the day and telecommute part of the time. Better yet, starting pay is 10k more than my last job, with less responsibility. woot!

Congratulations on the new job JD, but I'm super sad you can't make it to Chicago!

Where's the new job located...are you going to have to move or anything?

You should still go to Chicago. Just make it into a business trip by promising everyone bigger penises. Purposely be short on supplies by one person. Then you can slip yours into whoever loses the 'musical chairs' game.

I know you don't know me but I'd appreciate some free pens, mousepads and other pharmaceutical swag now that my supplies are depleted.

You're too good to me. Make sure you have a really good time and then come back and write all about how awesome it was and how I missed out on so much fun. Maybe you could even buy some crazy rare spice that is only available in Chicago and let me know how great it is. Oh, and check out all the hawt allafemmes for me while you're at it. Thanks, you're a doll. Smiley: flowers

New London, CT. Just outside their corporate compound. No need to move, the commute is only like an hour-ish. On the bright side, the office is right on the water. I mean, it's only Long Island Sound, but it's better than nothing. They have really nice office furniture too! It's gonna be strange working for a company that has money.

PS ~ I need someone to be in charge of making Exo do at least two shots of tequila. Any volunteers?
